Some causes stay with you long after the event is over.

This year's "Hero Story - Christy Lucas" brought tears to many eyes as we heard how she opened her heart and home to 15 adopted children. It was a powerful reminder of what love, sacrifice, and hope can do.

That's why we're proud to support Home of the Innocents breakfast.

Because behind every story is a child who deserves a chance. A family that needs support. A life that can be changed.

Our clients asked if we would do a Spring edition of Tech Recycle Day, so we said "Let's do it."

The last 3 events hauled in over 30,000 pounds of retired tech and yesterday in Louisville added even more.

We collected ________ pounds this round (watch the video for the final number).

- C-PAP machines

…and enough random cables to wire an entire city.

Safe to say: another huge success.Huge thanks to everyone who came out, cleaned out closets, and kept old tech out of landfills.

Big-time day with the Leadership Louisville Center at the Leading Better Summit 2026.

A few highlights and takeaways:

• Alison Fragale – Use your talents to make others better. Advocate for people. And don’t be afraid to ask others to advocate for you.

• Heather Yerrid – “IQ may get you the job. EQ will make you successful in the job.” Time to sharpen those emotional intelligence skills.

• Holly Prather – Best dressed AND coffee coordinated (see video)

• Adam Robinson – Celebrity sighting

• Marcus Canady – Intrusive leadership: Know your people. They’re bringing life into work. Notice them. Guide them. Make people feel valued as whole humans.

• Derek Greenfield – Generations working together is powerful. Mentorship goes both ways. Stay open, learn from everyone, and don’t be afraid to create those “glad-to-see-you” handshakes

Say hello to our newest ABS team member - John Luke Roberts

First-gen college grad, Eagle Scout, musician, and all-around creative. He’s into digital art, graphic design, character creation, animation, painting - you name it, the guy does it all.

When he’s not creating, he’s probably outside enjoying the fresh air.

The best part, he fits right in with the ABS Culture and the ABS Way, and we couldn’t be more excited to have him on the team.

It’s on like Donkey Kong.

The ABS annual egg hunt was an absolute blast with our normal pure chaos in the best way.

Thankfully, no one got hurt in the mad dash around the office. No WWE-style takedowns, no tasers flying (that we know of), just some highly competitive egg hunters getting crazy.

In the end, everyone made it out in one piece, plenty of eggs were secured, and bragging rights were definitely earned.

Brother rolled in with what can only be described as world-champion level chili and absolutely dominated the competition.

Honestly, we’re just hoping he doesn’t take this recipe to market, because he could probably make a few million… and we need him right here at ABS.
