What's better than an amazing smelling candle with a clients monogram adorned on the front.. nothing, there's nothing better ;) 🍂

It's hard to choose a favorite design from this brand. You can tell I had fun creating all the different elements 🍦

There is so much intention that goes into my brands.. things that that most people wouldn't catch. I tried to explain it a little here while I was designing their brand monogram and emblem. I LOVE how it turned out and you'll notice that I opted to do a hex pattern inside instead of dots (since there referenced that for their tiles) and the floral inspired monogram ends also show up in their corner pattern element I designed. It feels elevated, art nouveau, southern.. and perfect ✨

It's always in the details. For Cloverdale, I designed a whole family of marks: a vintage script logo, a stacked wordmark, an art nouveau-inspired CC monogram tucked in a quatrefoil frame, little stamps with their address, and the tagline, "Taste of Joy." Each one gives the shop its own way to create a memorable brand moment.

Colors you can almost taste. Warm, sweet, grounded ☺️🤍 Half the storytelling happens before anyone reads a word.

The air smells of sugar and soft chatter lingers as afternoon light filters through scalloped awnings, catching the soft velvet of a curtain and the checkerboard vintage tiles. Ice cream drips onto pressed linen as soft jazz fills the air.

Meet Cloverdale Creamery. A nostalgic ice cream shop in Montgomery, built for slow afternoons and small celebrations. We designed a brand that feels like a neighborhood staple you've known for years: warm, joyful, and a little old-fashioned in the best way. Every detail, from the script wordmark to the creative elements, says one thing.. It's a great day for ice cream ;)

Swipe to see how it came together.
