There is so much intention that goes into my brands.. things that that most people wouldn't catch. I tried to explain it a little here while I was designing their brand monogram and emblem. I LOVE how it turned out and you'll notice that I opted to do a hex pattern inside instead of dots (since there referenced that for their tiles) and the floral inspired monogram ends also show up in their corner pattern element I designed. It feels elevated, art nouveau, southern.. and perfect ✨

It's always in the details. For Cloverdale, I designed a whole family of marks: a vintage script logo, a stacked wordmark, an art nouveau-inspired CC monogram tucked in a quatrefoil frame, little stamps with their address, and the tagline, "Taste of Joy." Each one gives the shop its own way to create a memorable brand moment.

You don't know what it's like until you are in the thick of it. I was in denial for months. Then, on her 4 month birthday she woke up and was a whole different baby.
- she doesn't cry on and off for the last half of the day
- she let others hold her
- she doesn't take 20-30 minutes to settle for a nap
- she falls asleep within an hour at night, even quicker lately (sometimes it took almost 3)
- she is happy more than sad
- she has less gas
- she actually rests her head on our chest or shoulder (which never happened)
- she fell asleep in the stroller for the 1st time
- she doesn't mind being worn.. finally
- she can be put down and just hang out on her own
- she smiles so much more.

Girlfriend still only contact naps and often only 20-40 minutes.. but SHES A WHOLE NEW BABY!

We graduated from the worst club.. thank Goodness.
