What you should use is an air compressor that blows out air and no extra junk. Make sure the fan is held tight when doing this though as spinning the fan too fast can break it. How to clean a PS5? This is your answer if you're not inclined to disassemble and vacuum it out.

Drink every time I say it doesn't fit and see how many times you end up watching this video. Jk I don't condone drinking anything but water. Health is wealth BUT I think this black soft touch shell looks nasty, I just don't like that it's a circle and not the PS logo.

Hands down the dirtiest one I've come across yet but these new heatsink setups and cooling systems are legit. Absolutely no overheating spotted on the liquid metal even with it standing and having no ventilation. Pretty cool. But of course it's in for an HDMI port repair.

Hopefully this didn't ruin your appetite. Good news is they are crusty and don't move. Bad news is they are inside the console. But that's ok. We will get this console working right. No I'm not an exterminator. I don't recommend calling me to remove these creatures.

If someone smarter than me can figure out how to restore the 3.3v to the grey fan wire feel free to message me. The continuity to it is .465 so it's within range. Which means the south bridge is fine. I removed the capacitor and checked the voltage and it went up to .4v which is higher but not but as it won't work with that low of a reading. If not then I'm going to jump wire the grey wire to a 5v standby by or 3.3v.

If you attempt a repair and have no idea what you're doing stop before you do too much damage. Obviously I'm going to get this customer's console right at no extra charge beyond the range I gave him already. Which I would say is a steal for the amount of work.

I've seen this before but never really focused on it as I thought it was just an occasional one off. Maybe they accidentally added two drops? But I think it was a thing. Obviously I don't see very many with the two epoxy drops. Which might actually be a good thing. These ports are hard almost impossible to pop off but the tab in the middle breaks super easy. Also pretty much the same way every time.

Plug it up and leave it like it depends on it. The Xbox series x HDMI ports are stuck on the motherboard hard. They are unlikely to pop off like the PS5 HDMI ports would. However we fix a lot of them due to tilting of the console or it dropping and unplugging and plugging back in. PS5 consoles the HDMI ports break if you fart around them. Stick drift on PS5 controllers can literally happen within the first week of buying a new controller. Amazing.

This PS5 vacuum came in for an HDMI port repair. But an unexpected surprise of dust, hair and old skin cells bundled inside nice and cozy.
