What's really under your field?

GroundOwl maps compaction and nutrients across every acre and delivers high-resolution results. Two field-level views: one shows inch-by-inch where compaction is choking roots, the other shows where your fertility program is paying off (or where you need to invest).

Spend where you need it, and save where you don't.

Wisconsin + Iowa 2026 Risk Watch: Corn Rootworm

Wisconsin and Iowa both stand out in the EarthOptics 2026 Predictive Ag Report’s Corn Rootworm outlook. The Corn Rootworm map shows the greatest risk centered in eastern Iowa into northern and central Illinois, with elevated pressure extending into western Wisconsin and southern Minnesota. The Western Corn Rootworm map also highlights central and southern Iowa as a major risk zone. Continuous corn acres in these areas should be closely evaluated for 2026 planning.

Pollinators, prairie plants, grazing systems, and soil microbes are all part of the same story.

When diverse plant communities thrive, they help support stronger biological activity below ground. Healthy soil biology then helps support nutrient cycling, root development, and resilient vegetation over time.

That is why biodiversity management is becoming more connected to soil measurement and biological insights.

The better we understand the system below the surface, the better equipped we are to support healthier landscapes above it. Learn more here: https://earthoptics.com/news-insights/pollinators-prairie-plants-and-the-biodiversity-connection-beneath-our-feet

Not everything in a field is easy to spot at first glance. Some factors are visible early, while others require a deeper understanding of what is happening below the surface.

At this stage of the season, soil variability, nutrient availability, and biological activity are already influencing crop performance, even when they are not immediately apparent. Better soil intelligence helps bring these hidden factors into focus, supporting more informed decisions across acres.

Nebraska 2026 Risk Watch: Soybean Stem Canker

Nebraska is seeing elevated risk of Soybean Stem Canker in the 2026 growing season, placing the highest pressure across eastern Nebraska, western Iowa, northern Missouri, and into Illinois, with broader moderate risk across much of the central Corn Belt. Infections occur early, while symptoms often appear later, making early-season risk easy to miss.

We're starting to see some early growth, and the next round of in-season decisions is approaching quickly. This is when soil data can continue to help you throughout the season. It doesn't just help you with input planning; it also helps you scout your fields with precision. Our data can tell you exactly where in the field you should be scouting in-season.

EarthOptics helps bring that insight into focus so decisions are based on what is really happening in the field. Learn more at www.earthoptics.com
