May was a big month. Here are the highlights👇

- Open API: Connect Ply to your own tools, push takeoffs into purchase orders, run custom reports.
- Three-Way Match: Match your PO, invoice, and receipt automatically. Catch discrepancies before they cost you.
- Chrome Extension: "Add to catalog" now works directly from any product page. More stores supported.
- Rolling replenishment for single warehouses: Automate your entire warehouse restocking into a purchase order.
- PO unreconcile: Reconciled the wrong thing? Now you can undo it yourself. No support ticket needed.
- Margin field on stock pages: See your material margins right where you're managing stock.
- Catalog redesign: Cleaner, faster, less clutter.

Some big news today: 3-Way Matching is live.

Every invoice your team receives now gets automatically compared to your purchase order and your delivery receipt before anyone approves a payment.

Matched items are handled automatically. Discrepancies get flagged with the full picture so your team can make one decision instead of doing the math themselves.

Most people find out the hard way that a warehouse can either protect your margin or leak it.

There's a module for that.

Ply University is free and open to anyone in the trades, no product subscription required. Whether you're running a warehouse, managing procurement, or just starting out, our modules are fit for anyone and everyone: https://hubs.ly/Q04h6Kvy0

Nobody gets into the trades because they love tracking parts.

But here's what bad inventory actually costs you: technicians driving back to the warehouse for something that was already on the truck. Jobs delayed because nobody knew stock was low. Profit margins that look fine on paper until you actually do the math.

Inventory isn't glamorous. But getting it right is one of the highest-leverage changes a trades business can make.

That's what we're building Ply around. So yeah, we’d say that’s pretty cool.

One of these warehouses is costing its owner money every single day. The other one isn't.
You can probably tell which is which.

When you know exactly what you have, where it is, and how fast it's moving, you stop reordering things you already own. You stop sending techs back to the warehouse mid-job. You stop guessing your margins.

This is what we help fix. If you’d like to know more about our warehouse onsite implementations, head to: https://hubs.ly/Q04g5X1_0

Offsite dump alert: The Ply CS team got together in person and it was all smiles!

Some face time, some work sessions, some activities; the kind of thing that makes a remote team actually feel like a team.

These are some of the people behind your onboarding, handling your support tickets, and helping out with your "how does this work?" questions. Pretty great group💚

Your supplier delivers 48 items. You ordered 50. The invoice says 52.

Most of these errors aren't caught until after they're paid. So we built an AI-powered feature that catches them before.

Something new is coming to Ply. Stay tuned.

Six years helping trade businesses modernize their operations. And the problem Eleazar Avraham runs into most consistently?
Inventory.

Not scheduling. Not cash flow. Inventory.

In our latest piece, he breaks down what "no system" actually costs in lost billable time, duplicate orders, and job costing that's based on numbers that are weeks out of date. "You're going to start to see results of profits increasing immediately. Because now you're not wasting items. You don't have guys wasting time going to order items that you already have in the warehouse."

When's the last time you updated your Ply app?
Because if it's been a while, you might be missing out on:

→ Decimal quantities on POs: Yes, you can now order 2.5 inches of something.
→ Kits on purchase orders: Select a kit, Ply expands it to all component materials automatically.
→ PO edits now sync back to ServiceTitan: No more manual updates on both sides.
→ QuickBooks bill creation on PO received: One less thing to do manually.
→ FSM status-based material sync: Materials only sync when a job hits the right status.

Plus a bunch of bug fixes and speed improvements that just make everything feel a little smoother.

Now stop scrolling and go update the app.

Most warehouse teams are still doing inventory counts the hard way: walking the floor with a clipboard, no structure, no audit trail.

Cycle Counts in Ply lets you set exactly what gets counted, by who, and when.

Filter by category (just HVAC? just fittings?), set a cost range, assign specific aisles, or build a custom list. Define the schedule and Ply builds the count list automatically so you can ditch the clipboard.
