We're deep in show season and the conversations haven't slowed down.
From San Antonio to Las Vegas and everywhere in between, we've been on the floor with operators across every market, every portfolio size, every stage of the modernization curve. And one thing keeps coming up, not in the sessions, but in the hallways, at dinner, over a drink after the exhibit hall closes.
The operators pulling ahead aren't the ones with the most sophisticated pitch about AI. They're the ones who did the quiet work first. Clean data. Connected systems. A clear definition of what problem they're actually trying to solve. The tools came after, and they worked because the foundation was there.
The operators still on the sideline aren't behind because they don't care. Most of them care a lot. They're behind because the path from "this seems important" to "here's what I'm actually doing about it" is harder than any conference session makes it look.
That's the gap we keep seeing. And it's the one we built Cubby to close.
Still more shows to go. If you're on the circuit this spring, come find us.
