Your VIPs have been to a hundred steakhouse dinners. Now what? 🥂

On our recent webinar, hosted by Rachel Moore, attendees asked Adam Parry, Founder of Event Tech Live, and Kayla Drake, Founder of The Event Career Coach, for VIP prospecting ideas at trade shows that go beyond happy hours and dinners.

Kayla and Adam had ideas ranging from wellness breaks to party shuttles and food crawls. Someone in the chat summed it up perfectly: "Don't trap people." Swipe to see their full list 👉

💡 Bonus inspo from our team: For our first Bizzy Break this year, we hosted a w**e tasting in a speakeasy cave in Austin. A hidden spot like that gives guests something to talk about the moment they walk in.

Some of our favorite feedback doesn't come from a survey. It comes from the reviews we can't help but smile at! 😁

Our team pulled together their favorite reviews on G2 this cycle, because reading them back-to-back reminded us exactly why we do this.

To everyone who took five minutes to write one: thank you! It matters more than you know. 💛

Event leaders from Nasdaq and Axon agree on one registration rule: put yourself in the attendee’s shoes. 💡

“Imagine yourself as the person registering.” That’s Axon’s Samantha Arth’s #1 advice. When you’re the one setting it up, it’s easy to build around your own goals. Instead, she suggests asking what you’d want the experience to be, then setting up the questions, website, and marketing channels from there.

🎙️ Insights from Samantha Arth, Marketing Project Manager II, Event Operations at Axon. She’s joined by Daniel McCartt, Senior Events Manager, Listings at Nasdaq, Gabrielle Scott, former Director of Product Marketing at Bizzabo (now Director of Product Marketing at Grata), and host Rachel Moore for a conversation full of practical, no-fluff takeaways.

Everyone's hosting a field event. Why would anyone pick yours? 🤔

On our recent webinar hosted by Rachel Moore, attendees asked Adam Parry, Founder of Event Tech Live, and Kayla Drake, Founder of The Event Career Coach, how to stand out when every company is hosting something around the same conference.

Adam's advice was to stop chasing the whole conference and focus on who you want in the room. "It doesn't have to be the biggest, most flamboyant thing for people to turn up."

Kayla's tips were all about convenience. Don't compete with the opening reception, stay within walking distance and think twice about boats. "People tend to get fearful of being water-locked."

💡Bonus tip from our team: Build your guest list before you book anything!

Let's swap some field event inspo! What's the best field event you've been to? Tell us below 💛

20 AI tools in 20 minutes? The room was standing room only.

Our CEO and Co-founder, Eran Ben-Shushan, joined Johan Wadenholt Vrethem, Jonathan Kazarian, and Dahlia El Gazzar on stage at IMEX America for Eventastic's Rapid-Fire AI Session: 20 Tools in 20 Minutes. Each speaker shared their top 5 AI tools and how event profs can put them to work, and there were plenty of "I didn't know AI could do that" faces in the crowd.

Here are Eran’s top 5 tools:
✨ Granola: takes notes on vendor, sponsor, and speaker calls without a bot in the meeting
✨ NotebookLM: turns three days of session transcripts and feedback into weeks of content
✨ Figma: build an asset once, then produce dozens of branded variations
✨ Bizzabo’s Agentic Event OS: AI agents that learn from your own event history, with nothing live until a person approves it
✨ Oura Advisor: sleep, stress, and recovery insights to help avoid burnout during event season

Thank you to everyone who packed the room, and to Johan Wadenholt Vrethem (VOXO), Jonathan Kazarian (Accelevents), and Dahlia El Gazzar (DAHLIA+Agency) for making it a great session! 🔥

What are your top 5 AI tools? Drop them in the comments! 💛

Before the playbooks, there were zip ties, freezing venues, and nerves. 💛

We asked Kayla Drake (The Event Career Coach) and Adam Parry (Event Tech Live) to pick up a pen and take us back to their early days of running events.

Swipe through to read their field notes ➡️

If you remember your own early days, you’ll see yourself in these: the nerves, the scrambling, the rush when the room fills up. Do it scared, do it tired, do it anyway. ✨

Some of the best IMEX conversations happen after the show floor closes. 🥂

After a full day on the IMEX America show floor, CEMA, Caesars, and Bizzabo hosted a happy hour at Pinky's by Vanderpump. Cocktails, curated bites, and a chance to unwind with the event marketers and industry partners who make this community what it is.

Thank you to our co-hosts CEMA and Caesars, and to everyone who joined us. 💛

Three days, one booth, and nonstop conversations. 💛

IMEX America 2026 is a wrap! We went smaller with our booth this year and built it for conversations rather than activations. It worked.

A few moments we loved:
✨ Announcing Agentic OS on Monday, right as the team hit the ground
✨ Happy hour with CEMA and Caesars to mix and mingle after hours
✨ A standing-room-only AI session on the show floor
✨ Our hat and bag patch bar

Thank you to everyone who stopped by Booth C5004. And a huge thank you to our onsite team for running the floor all week: Lauren Sorenson, Brae Davis, Karina Reyes, Katie Bensink, Kacie Finance, KC Bolcome, Meirav Dudek, and Eran Ben-Shushan. Plus Alina Ktsoieva, Rachael Coppola, and Zoë LePage for all the work behind the scenes.

On to the next one!
