On July 20, 2026, the AWE team experienced a grave loss with the passing of Mike Sullivan. We understand the shock and sadness of his sudden loss, and our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time.
For two decades, Mike was the heart of Automated Wireless Environments. He championed innovation and growth while nurturing his teams here and at Automated Wireless Environments Canada. He was a mentor, a colleague, and a friend, and his loss is felt deeply across our entire AWE family.

The established business succession plan is ongoing. Gary Sullivan is CEO and acting President, and projects Mike was involved with have been moved to a committee of developers and project managers to ensure a seamless transition. For any questions, please reach out to your AWE liaison.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2026 from 2pm to 6pm at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Sparta, NJ with repast to follow at the Sparta VFW, 66 Main Street, Sparta, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on Mike’s behalf to The American Cancer Society or Blue Knights New Jersey IX (BKNJIX) Charities.
