NFPA 1225 2027 brings greater attention to how public safety communication systems are evaluated, engineered, tested, monitored, and maintained.

The updated standard also addresses system shutdown, near-far RF performance, personnel qualifications, distribution network limitations, monitoring, and technical documentation.
