Huge, heartfelt congratulations to all the brilliant filmmakers🤩

You took a blank page, a camera, and a dream, and turned them into cinematic magic. In a world full of noise, your stories stood out. Whether you captured a raw human emotion, painted a surreal dreamscape, or shed light on an unspoken truth, your dedication to the project is inspiring.

"Cinema is the most beautiful weapon for injuring reality." – Luis Buñuel

You have embraced that weapon beautifully, shaking up our realities and expanding our horizons. This recognition is a testament to your endless sleepless nights, your creative resilience, and your unwavering belief in your vision.

Today, we pause to honor the birth anniversary of Kavi Guru Rabindranath Tagore, a polymath whose influence transcends borders, languages, and generations. More than just a poet, Tagore was a visionary who reshaped Bengali literature and music, becoming the first non-European Nobel Laureate in Literature. His legacy is not found merely in textbooks, but in the very rhythm of our lives—through the soul-stirring melodies of Rabindra Sangeet and the profound philosophy of his prose.

Today, we celebrate the 165th birth anniversary of the "Bard of Bengal," Rabindranath Tagore. More than just a poet, Tagore was a philosopher, musician, artist, and the first non-European to win the Nobel Prize in Literature. His work didn't just define a culture; it gave a soul to a nation’s struggle for identity.

Whether it’s the haunting beauty of Gitanjali, the soulful depth of Rabindra Sangeet, or his vision of a world "where the mind is without fear," Tagore’s legacy remains a compass for humanity. He taught us that education is not just about information, but about living in harmony with all existence.

"A man who saw the world in 35mm and taught us to see the extraordinary in the ordinary. ✨

Today, we celebrate the birth anniversary of Satyajit Ray—the polymath who put Indian cinema on the global map. From the lyrical realism of Pather Panchali to the sharp intelligence of Feluda, Ray wasn't just a filmmaker; he was a complete artist.

To the man who gave us the 'Apu Trilogy' and a lifetime of inspiration: Happy Birthday, Manik-da 😇

The Invisible Army: Celebrating the Labor of Cinema✊

Behind every flickering frame that moves us, every line of dialogue that haunts us, and every world that transports us, lies a monumental feat of human labor. On International Workers’ Day, we pull back the curtain to honor the tireless workforce that breathes life into the silver screen.

Cinema is often celebrated through its stars, but the magic of film is built on the sweat and precision of an invisible army. It is the cinematographer chasing the perfect light at dawn, the gaffers and grips rigging the scaffolding that holds the vision together, and the boom operators ensuring every whisper is captured with clarity.

The Architects of the Unseen
A film festival is a tribute to the collective. We salute:

The production designers, and painters who build worlds from scratch, and the costume designers and makeup artists who transform skin and fabric into history.
The DITs, focus pullers, and camera assistants who manage the intricate machinery of modern storytelling.
The assistant directors keeping the pulse of the set, the location managers scouting the soul of the film, and the production assistants who are the glue holding every department together.
The editors who find the story in the chaos, the colorists who set the mood, and the foley artists and sound designers who ensure we don’t just see the world, but feel it.

From the catering crews fueling long night shoots to the drivers navigating the gear, every role is a vital gear in the machine. Today, we celebrate the hands that build the dreams.

To the workers of cinema: We see you, we thank you, and we celebrate you.👏

Behind the Lens, Beyond the Shift: A Tribute to the Hands That Build Our Stories

This International Workers’ Day, as we gather under the flicker of the projector, we pause to celebrate the labor behind the magic. Cinema is often called the "Dream Factory," but dreams don't just happen—they are built, hauled, stitched, and rendered through the tireless dedication of a global workforce.

Today, we honor every hand that has ever graced a call sheet:

To the directors navigating the chaos, the screenwriters wrestling with the blank page, and the producers who move mountains to turn a "maybe" into a "wrap." To the cinematographers chasing the perfect light, the gaffers and grips rigging the heavy steel, and the sound mixers capturing the whispers that move us.
To the production designers, and set decorators who build reality from sawdust; the costume designers, makeup artists, and hairstylists who transform flesh and bone into icons.
To the editors finding the heartbeat in the footage, the VFX artists sculpting the impossible, and the colorists painting our moods.
To the script supervisors holding the thread, the PAs running the miles, the stunt performers risking the fall, and the catering crews who fuel the late-night shifts.
To the actorsfrom the leads to the background artists—who give the work its soul, and the casting directors who saw their spark.
To the festival staff, projectionists, publicists, and theatre ushers who ensure the story finally meets its light.

From the quietest indie set to the loudest blockbuster, film is a testament to collective labor. It is a reminder that when we work together, we create something that lives forever.

Happy International Workers’ Day to the backbone of the industry.

Today, we don't just watch the credits roll—we read every name. ✊🎬
