Putting the word out there for artist/jeweler friends (and anyone with "small and shiny" work ... I'm going to be officially offering product photography services in a few months. The emphasis will be for jury photos, but would also work for website product photos.

So until I launch this officially, I'm offering "guinea pig" pricing while I build my portfolio. If you might be interested, let me know. Otherwise, let people know and help me get the word out!

As in person events are picking up steam again, you don’t want to show up empty handed. Brochures and flyers are great ways to share targeted information about your product or service. And along with a killer website they will ensure you make a lasting impression.

I hope this really doesn't have to be said, but in light of recent news, I feel like it should be. We will not discriminate against anyone regardless of their beliefs, their race or their sexual orientation. Now we might not always be the right fit for a specific project. But we will always do our best to point one in the right direction to help customers get what they need.

Before you use any artwork or photography you find online for commercial use, it's always best practice to determine who owns the rights and to secure permission to reproduce it. This is true for cute pictures you find on Google as well as artwork supplied on old CD-ROMs that you purchased.

Case in point, Capcom, the developer of such games as Resident Evil and Devil May Cry is being sued by an artist for using photographed textures and patterns that she published in her book and CD-ROM titled, "Surfaces" from 1996. The book was NOT sold as a stock art selection and the images were to be used for visual reference only as stated on the CD-ROM copyright notice.

Capcom instead used select images in their games and advertising as textures without securing a proper license from the original photographer and negotiating a suitable payment. The photographer is suing Capcom for $12 million dollars.

Capcom used dozens of images from a book of textures in games for decades, the case alleges.
