Just a designer who used to think she had to be two completely different people to be taken seriously.
The polished version: scheduled, strategic, thriving. The real version: Cheetos dust on her shirt, showing up to Zoom calls held together with dry shampoo and a prayer. For a long time, I thought the facade was the brand. That if people saw the messy middle — the hard seasons, the crumbling, the struggling — they’d leave. Turns out, the opposite was true.
No amount of revenue changes how you feel inside, and I could only ever be as successful as I actually was — not the version I was performing. 😊
Nowadays you will find me being a complete goof while taking my clients’ transformations seriously. Dancing around my office. Owning my mistakes out loud. Showing up through the messy and the amazing — even when it doesn’t look cute.
Because the least interesting thing about me has always been how polished i look.
