Behind every color and texture we design, there is a person - a special user that we think about CONSTANTLY.

For years, BZD has been proud to partner with Al Sigl Community whose mission is simple but powerful: use design and technology to give people of all abilities greater access to life's opportunities. It's a program built on real collaboration - researchers, designers, service providers, and, most importantly, the individuals themselves, all working together to create real solutions that serve children and adults with special needs.

We've been lucky enough to be part of that process more than once, helping bring new ideas to life through design. Right now, we're deep into our next project together, and honestly? It might be our most colorful yet.

We can't show you what we're up to yet, but the colors and textures alone are worth a look.

Details to come. For now, we're just proud to be working alongside a partner doing work that genuinely matters in our community.

We're excited to welcome Lucy Zombek to the BZDesign team!

Lucy's a recent Syracuse University grad and former Division I runner. She's helping to grow
BZD's sports and recreation client works through research, marketing content, and social media.

When she's not at BZD, she's training for her first marathon and can probably be found finishing
a puzzle faster than you'd expect.

Excited for what's ahead with her on the team!

We hit the ground running at the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge last night - literally.

Big thanks to our amazing team (and their families!) who showed up to represent BZDesign, and to all the familiar faces we got to high-five along the course. Rochester’s corporate community shows up strong for this event every year, and we love being part of it. We connected with partners from all over Rochester but big shoutout to Jillian Mooney who had her team at QED Technologies sporting one of our illustrations!

Earlier this week we organized a Lunch & Learn for this year's Luminate teams to discover our capabilities and to hear from other startups who learned first hand how design can make all the difference when it comes to product iteration and securing funding. Thank you to our speakers Greg Gresock of SunDensity and Carlos Terrero and Bob Stanchus of Circle Optics. A big thanks also to NextCorps for always helping us connect with the right audiences and for making sure everything goes off without a hitch!
