Custom Birthday Buttons Designed and Printed by The Rusty Pixel

The Rusty Pixel recently completed a fun and colorful custom button project for Bad Ass Bruce’s unforgettable 85th Birthday Bash in Melbourne, FL! From the original logo design to the finished printed buttons, we helped create a unique keepsake to celebrate this special milestone.

The centerpiece of the project is a bold, pirate-themed logo featuring a large skull and crossbones with plenty of personality. Sporting a bandana, sunglasses, and a big cigar, the skull perfectly captures the fun, adventurous spirit behind the celebration. “Bad Ass Bruce” takes center stage across the top, with “85th Birthday Bash in Brevard” underneath.

The vintage-inspired design combines an old-school serif font with pirate and tropical elements, including palm trees and stars. A hand-drawn, weathered appearance gives the logo the look of an old pirate emblem while keeping the overall design playful and full of character.

For the finished buttons, we produced 1.5-inch round designs in three vibrant color combinations: white, yellow, and blue backgrounds. Each button features full-color printing on quality paper, protected by a smooth, weather-resistant laminate for a durable finish.

The buttons also feature tin-plated steel backs with adjustable pin positioning, allowing the pin to rotate for convenient placement on clothing, bags, and other items.

The result is a colorful, personalized party favor that helps make Bruce’s 85th birthday celebration even more memorable!

Check out the finished buttons and let us know which color combination is your favorite!

The Rusty Pixel Creates a New Logo Design for Reverie Cove

The Rusty Pixel recently created a new logo design for Reverie Cove, a historic summer estate located in beautiful Bar Harbor, Maine. Reverie Cove is a particularly opulent example of Colonial Revival architecture, and the historic property was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

For this project, The Rusty Pixel utilized our clipart logo package to create a modern, clean identity that captures the character and natural beauty of the Bar Harbor area.

The centerpiece of the logo is a circular icon featuring a stylized nature scene with water, pine trees, islands, and mountains. The imagery was carefully selected to evoke the coastal New England landscape and the natural surroundings associated with Bar Harbor.

To the right of the icon is the name “REVERIE COVE” in a modern serif typeface presented in all capital letters. The color palette combines dark blue, dark green, cream, and white to create a sophisticated appearance while maintaining a strong connection to nature.

One unique aspect of the design is the use of a dark background, which helps the lighter elements of the logo stand out and gives the overall identity a distinctive, contemporary look.

The circular icon also works especially well as a standalone graphic, making it ideal for use as a social media profile image, website icon, or other digital applications.

Our goal was to create something that feels both modern and timeless while capturing the natural beauty and atmosphere of Bar Harbor.

What do you think of the new Reverie Cove logo?

The Rusty Pixel Creates Custom PowerPoint Presentation for Launch on Demand

The Rusty Pixel recently created a custom 9-slide PowerPoint presentation for LOD Holdings, combining professional presentation design with a unique visual style tailored specifically to the company's branding and industry.

The presentation features fading animations between slides, creating smooth transitions throughout the presentation. A custom-designed interface was developed with the LOD Holdings logo positioned in the top-left corner and the slide name displayed in the top-right. Below the header, the main content area sits against a star-filled background, reinforcing the company's connection to the aerospace and space industry.

The entire presentation was designed around LOD Holdings' existing branding, incorporating their dark red and blue color palette, along with consistent sans-serif typography and design elements. Each slide was carefully styled to work together as a cohesive presentation while maintaining a clean, professional appearance. The presentation was created at 960 × 540 pixels, providing a widescreen format suitable for digital presentations.

To make the finished presentation easier to distribute and share, The Rusty Pixel also created a PDF version of the presentation. This allows the client to easily email, share, or provide the presentation to others without requiring PowerPoint.

Based in Cocoa Beach, Florida, LOD Holdings, also known as Launch on Demand, provides full-service licensing support, launch integration management, cost-effective digital day-of-launch solutions, and spaceport technical services. Their services are designed to allow clients to focus on their core business while LOD handles critical launch-related requirements.

We're excited about how this presentation came together and how the interface brings the company's aerospace focus into the design.

Check out a few frames from the presentation below. What do you think of the interface, style, and layout?

Today, September 16th, 2026, marks the 20th anniversary of The Rusty Pixel! It was way back on this date in 2006 that owner and lead developer Rusty Rayner founded a high-end digital media company called The Rusty Pixel in Orlando, Florida.

Shortly afterward, we relocated our headquarters east to Brevard County, FL, where we began offering creative web design, logo design, print services, 3D production, and film production. Over the years, our services have evolved, and we eventually phased out 3D production to focus on our primary passions: custom website design, logo branding, web hosting, graphic design and video production.

Over the past 20 years, we have created hundreds of websites, logos, and print designs for countless happy clients throughout Florida, across the United States, and even around the world.

But you might be asking: What has changed about The Rusty Pixel?

A lot has changed since 2006! Technology, web development, design trends, social media, mobile devices, and the way people interact with the internet have all transformed dramatically. Looking back at our original work is a great reminder of just how far the digital world has come.

Twenty years ago, we could only imagine what the next two decades would bring. Today, as we celebrate 20 years in business, we're excited to look ahead at what the future holds. Artificial intelligence, new web technologies, evolving design standards, and countless innovations are already changing the industry once again.

So, what does the next 20 years have in store for The Rusty Pixel? We'll have to wait until 2046 to find out! But if the past 20 years are any indication, we're expecting many more websites designed, logos created, print materials produced, and, most importantly, happy and satisfied clients.

Thank you for an incredible 20 years! We truly appreciate everyone who has supported The Rusty Pixel, worked with us, referred us to others, and trusted us with their businesses and creative projects over the years.

Here's to the next 20!

Circle Stickers Printed for Bad Bruce

Bad Ass Bruce 85th Birthday Stickers: A Pirate-Themed Celebration in Melbourne, FL

The Rusty Pixel recently completed a fun and colorful sticker printing project for Bad Ass Bruce, celebrating an unforgettable 85th Birthday Bash in Melbourne, FL. We handled both the original logo design and the custom sticker printing, creating a unique keepsake for this special celebration.

The centerpiece of the project is a fun, pirate-themed logo featuring a large pirate skull and crossbones with plenty of attitude. The skull sports a bandana, sunglasses, and a big cigar, perfectly capturing the fun and adventurous personality behind the celebration. “Bad Ass Bruce” appears prominently across the top, with “85th Birthday Bash in Brevard” centered underneath.

The vintage-inspired design combines an old-style serif font with tropical and pirate elements, including palm trees and stars. A hand-drawn, worn, and weathered appearance gives the logo the feel of an old pirate emblem while keeping the overall design energetic and entertaining.

For the stickers, we produced two sizes: 1.5" x 1.5" and 3" x 3". Both sizes are circular and were printed in three different color combinations: white, yellow, and blue backgrounds. The stickers feature vibrant, full-color printing and are designed to be durable and resistant to scratches and the elements.

The stickers were supplied on large rolls, making them easy to peel and apply wherever they're needed.

Check out the finished stickers and let us know which color combination is your favorite! Need custom stickers for your next event or business? The Rusty Pixel can print them for you!

New Project: Custom Car Magnets Designed & Printed for Local Screen Co.

The Rusty Pixel recently completed a new project for Local Screen Co., creating custom car magnets designed to give their vehicles a professional and recognizable look while helping promote their business wherever they go.

The magnets were 100% custom designed specifically for Local Screen Co. We created two different sizes: 24"x18" and 18"x12", with two of each size printed so magnets can be placed on both sides of their vehicles. Each magnet is made from durable 30-mil white vinyl, features a front-only print, and has a rectangular design with rounded corners.

The design keeps things simple and effective. Local Screen Co.'s logo—which was also created by The Rusty Pixel—is displayed prominently against a clean white background. Their phone number is featured large along the bottom using a sans-serif font and red color that matches the branding. The result is a clean, professional design that is easy to see from a distance.

These car magnets are made for durable indoor and outdoor use and are designed to perform well in a variety of weather conditions. They're an affordable way to turn company vehicles into mobile advertising.

About Local Screen Co.

Local Screen Co. is a family-owned and operated screening business serving Brevard and Indian River Counties. With more than 30 years of individual experience and over 70 years of combined industry experience, their team is dedicated to quality workmanship and attention to detail. What do you think of the simple design? We think it delivers the right combination of branding, readability, and professionalism!

The Rusty Pixel Unveils a Modern New Logo for Naulty & Co. Bookkeeping

We’re excited to showcase one of our latest branding projects—a brand-new custom logo design for Naulty & Co. Bookkeeping! The client came to The Rusty Pixel looking for fresh ideas and trusted us to create a professional identity that would reflect their business and stand out across both print and digital media.

This project was completed as part of our Clipart Vector Logo Package, which includes multiple design concepts, revisions, and complete logo finalization. After collaborating with the client throughout the creative process, we delivered a logo they were absolutely thrilled with.

The new logo features a bold, stylized “N” contained within a 45-degree square. One of the joints in the letter has been intentionally broken to create a unique, contemporary look, while the outlines on all four sides of the “N” form the square itself. The design also makes creative use of negative space, giving the logo depth and visual interest without becoming overly complicated.

The icon was designed to work perfectly as a social media profile image while remaining instantly recognizable at any size. It can also be displayed as a clean two-tone silhouette when needed, making it extremely versatile for embroidery, promotional products, signage, and other branding applications.

The color palette combines rich brown, metallic gray, and light gray to create a sophisticated, professional appearance. Clean sans-serif typography complements the modern icon and ensures excellent readability across every application.

Two logo layouts were created to maximize flexibility. The vertical version features the large icon above the company name and slogan, while the horizontal version places the icon to the left with the company name and tagline to the right. This allows the brand to maintain a consistent look across websites, business cards, social media, invoices, apparel, and marketing materials.

Based in Melbourne, Florida, Naulty & Co. Bookkeeping provides remote bookkeeping, payroll, bill pay, and QuickBooks setup and cleanup services for small businesses. Their mission is to help business owners stay organized, streamline their back office operations, and gain clarity and confidence in their financials. Their slogan says it all: “Clear Numbers · Confident Decisions.”

We love helping businesses build memorable brands that make a lasting first impression, and this project was no exception. Check out our latest logo creation for Naulty & Co. Bookkeeping, and let us know what you think!
