Celebrating World Environment Day 2026 through meaningful action!
On 12th June 2026, Cisco, in partnership with Jagruthi Trust, organized a CSR initiative at Gattahalli Lake focused on environmental restoration and sustainability. We are proud of the incredible contribution made by 30+ Cisco volunteers who came together to help rejuvenate the lake ecosystem and create a lasting positive impact on the environment.
Our volunteers actively participated in:
✅ Creating large composting pathys around 15 major trees to support dry leaf composting
✅ Removing forest creepers across more than 1 acre to promote healthier plant growth
✅ Cleaning up plastic waste from the lake surroundings
✅ Enriching soil by spreading dry leaves around 300+ plants
✅ Planting 150+ saplings to support the development of a butterfly garden
Through teamwork, dedication, and a shared commitment to sustainability, this initiative has helped improve soil health, enhance biodiversity, reduce environmental waste, and lay the foundation for a greener, cleaner, and more self-sustaining lake ecosystem.
