What. A. NIGHT! I’m so thankful to have been invited to this gathering in the clouds above Malibu CA, as one of a few dozen standout revenue acceleration entrepreneurs whose combined annual Net Dollars Retained is in the neighborhood of a quarter of a billion (with a B!) dollars. And without any of us taking VC funding! (yet?)
I’ve been fairly quiet about all of this mainly because the results that come out of this weekend are likely to be far more worthy of discussion than the event itself. Plus we’ve been busy with other multi-million dollar pursuits that tend to consume attention!
Tam’s heard me say for years that I’d love to find or create a community of my specific people on the business front: ethical, hungry, proactive, proven revenue generators who know how to take dollars into the stratosphere for their employer or own company including regularly closing the door on lesser opportunities to make room for faster acceleration. Which brings us to this moment. I feel like Steve Balmer, but instead it would be “Revenue acceleration, revenue acceleration, revenue acceleration!”
We now have two full days ahead laser focused on our shared core passion of further revenue acceleration for our customers and our own companies. Lots of comparing of notes on how we each somehow got here on our own, iron out any remaining weak spots, and then full speed ahead together as individuals for each of our ideal customer profiles of choice. Mine is experts (thus Expert10X.com)… a potential personality flaw of mine is that I only want to work with the top 10% of people who really know their stuff, and make sure they’re paid what they’re worth by amplifying them and their revenue.
As a side note, I have a luxury most of the others don’t, which is a strong enterprise story arc that supports returning to corporate but this time as a Senior/VP of Growth, so if you see what looks like job hunting it’s only for that specific role. I love having two ways to continue scratching the stratospheric revenue itch, and wish I had a crystal ball to see six months ahead which I end up picking for the long term (or both!).
Worth capturing a wonderful moment in time!
