Happy Saturday! We're getting extra HEAVY this Saturday with 7 Fresh Wall Records and 200+ new arrivals in the bin-- many of the heavy variety! We're loaded with tons of 70's and 80's hard rock and metal PLUS some great SOUL, blues and classic rock titles-- many of them in fantastic condition!

(Reminder that all of the following is available first come first serve at the shop Saturday at 11AM and not before!)

First, to the wall records--let's kick it off with a trio of LPs from BLACK SABBATH... First, the 1970 1st pressing of the self-titled album (clean!)

Next, a nice 1971 first pressing of PARANOID...

And then a 70's pressing of MASTER OF REALITY from... Singapore! Rare and the quality on this press is surprisingly strong, too!

Those are followed by a 1987 pressing of the essential APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION From Guns'n'Roses, the second sleeve version. Nice vinyl!

The next one is a bit of a precursor to the glam days of the 80's - a favorite of ours from the early 70's: THE NEW YORK DOLLS' debut record, a 1973 1st pressing.

Finally -for the wall records at least- we've got a really nice first pressing of THE WHITE ALBUM. This one has nice vinyl, all four inserts and the big poster AND it's a very low number-- it was made in the first run of 40,000 copies in the USA! We almost never see numbers under 200,000.

One last last one- a rare Mexican picture disc of VAN HALEN’s 1984!

** KINKS, BOWIE & THE DEAD, OH MY! **

Happy Saturday! We're back to our old tricks with a killer drop of 12 fresh wall records and 200+ new arrivals in the bin. This week we've pulled some some titles we haven't seen in AGES as well as some we've never even seen before! We're loaded with tons of 60's, 70's and 80's classic rock titles-- many of them in fantastic condition!

(Reminder that all of the following is available first come first serve at the shop Saturday at 11AM and not before!)

First, to the wall records-- amid rumors of rapprochement between the Davies brothers, let's start it off with THE KINKS- we haven't had much of their 60's output for some months now but today we've got a nice 1968 first pressing of THE VILLAGE GREEN PRESERVATION SOCIETY on the wall!

Next is a super nice first pressing of DAVID BOWIE's Ziggy Stardust from 1972... and there's SO MUCH MORE Bowie in new arrivals, too!

Then we have a trio of GRATEFUL DEAD "Imports" (Bootlegs). The First two are TWO double LP sets taken from the April 8 1985 show at the Philadelphia Spectrum-- first up, "Stella Blue" (Part 1)...

Next, "Brokedown Palace" (Part 2).

The third Dead release is a 1987 double LP set called PHONETIC PHILISTINE. It's taken from a June 30 1987 show in Toronto.

That's followed by a clean (!) first pressing of LED ZEPPELIN's Physical Graffiti...

Then an out of print 2015 4 LP Box Set of JIMMY PAGE's soundtrack recordings for Death Wish II and Lucifer Rising!

Next is a rare 1970's "Import" of JANIS JOPLIN live in Honolulu 1970-- the recording is EXCELLENT for a bootleg and the records are in terrific condition.

It's followed by another bootleg: STEALIN' - this is the second ever Dylan boot to be made in 1969, with outtakes from Bringing It all Back Home and Highway 61 plus some tracks from 1961. It this is the blue vinyl pressing!

That's followed up by a clean first pressing of THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE from 1967 on the tri-color label.

Then we've got a very nice first pressing of PINK FLOYD'S Dark Side of the Moon from 1973 with both stickers AND both posters (and they are pristine!)

Finally, we've got one last copy of the MICHAEL JACKSON Thriller Mobile Fidelity pressing from 2022. 180 gram and one of the best sounding version of this record.

** WILD & WOOLLY, WEIRD VINYL! **

Happy Saturday! We've got another huge drop of vintage LPs for you this weekend with a difference: we're all over the place in terms of era and genre! There are a few themes running throughout though, including some rare Noise Rock, vintage 90's vinyl (!), prog and cool world records. It all adds up to 8 fresh wall records and 200+ new arrivals LPs for you to dig through!

First, to the wall records-- let's start it off with no less than 3 first pressings from noise rockers SWANS. The first is the debut LP, Filth from 1983. The next is 1984's self-titled EP...

That's followed by 1987's Children of God, a 2 LP set!

Then we've got a live "import" (bootleg) of U2-- Articulate Speech of the Heart, a 3 LP (!) set made in 1988 from the 1987 Joshua Tree tour.

That's followed by a 1973 first pressing of PINK FLOYD's Dark Side of the Moon with BOTH posters!

Next is a DAVID GILMOUR "import" (bootleg) -- Metaphysical - Live 1984 in Stockholm, 2 LPs (made in an edition of just 500 copies)...

Then we've got a 1995 first pressing of PALACE MUSIC's excellent Viva Last Blues.

And finally -for the wall records- we've got a 1995 first pressing of FLAKE's Spork. Flake is the pre-SHINS band from Albuquerque and this is a very limited New Mexico release on 10" vinyl!

** MONSOON OF METAL! **

Happy Almost Weekend! We've got a veritable monsoon of metal for you this weekend with classic thrash, death and doom metal plus our biggest drop of vintage New Mexico Music LPs in a long time! And some great classic rock, too! This all adds up to 12 fresh wall records and 200+ new arrivals LPs for you to check out!

(Reminder that all of the following is available first come first serve at the shop Saturday at 11AM and not before!) First, to the wall records-- let's start it off with a real classic, SLAYER's Reign in Blood, a clean (!) first pressing from 1986. Next is a 1985 1st pressing of the Anthrax side project, STORMTROOPERS OF DEATH (S.O.D.) - clean!

Next we've got no less than SIX original MELVINS records, starting with 1989's Ozma... Next is 1992's self-titled release... Then 1993's HOUDINI, the gatefold first press... Then onto 1996's STAG, with the hype sticker! Then 1997's h***y... The last Melvins disc is the 2008 4x12" box set called (A) Senile Animal. Only 300 made and this is #2 of 300 (I guess we can assume #1 went to the band!)

The Melvins discs are followed by a trio of discs from French black metal entity BLUT AUS NORD: the three volumes of What Once Was, all limited edition 2012 & 2013 French pressings in beautiful sleeves: "Liber 1" Two: and Three: ' Finally, for the wall records, we've got Astral Fortress, a 2022 box set from Norwegian metallers DARKTHRONE. It includes an LP, tape and CD!

Happy Saturday! We're sorting through an avalanche of recent acquisitions and we've pulled another 7 fresh wall records and 200+ new arrivals LPs for your persual! This week we're focusing on classic rock and cool rarities, plus some weird ones!

First, to the wall records-- let's start it off with a Santa Fe favorite, Canciones de Mi Padre by LINDA RONSTADT. This is a clean 87 1st pressing!

Next we've got a real sleeper: NORMA TANEGA's Walkin' My Cat Named Dog. It's a really nice 1st mono pressing from 1966!

That's followed by two originals from Soul-Jazzer/Afrobeater extraordinaire HUGH MASEKELA... first is HOME IS WHERE THE MUSIC IS from 1972...

And the second is MASEKELA Introducing Hedzoleh Soundz from 1973!

Then we're on to a SEALED 1st pressing of BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN's classic Born in the USA. It's got the hype sticker AND a rather hilarious ad on it for the Black Angus Steak Restaurant (!)

Then we've got a 1st pressing from 1970 of GEORGE HARRISON's classic All Things Must Pass-- the 3LP box set with the inner sleeves and the giant POSTER!

Finally -for the wall records- we've got a nice 1971 Columbia house pressing of THE ROLLING STONES' Sticky Fingers with the zipper intact!

** IT'S RAINING ROCK! **

Woah Nelly! We've been inundated with some great collections recently and we're putting out quite a good one today- 11 fresh wall records and 200+ new arrivals comprised of classic punk, goth, new wave, classic rock and more!

First, to the wall records-- let's start it off with a trio of never-before-in-the-shop-LPs: SAMHAIN was Glenn Danzig's first band after the initial breakup of the Misfits. Original pressings of these albums are UNBELIEVABLY rare and these 3 sound great. First is INITIUM from 1984. Next is the UNHOLY PASSION 12" from 1985...

And last of the three is 1986's NOVEMBER-COMING-FIRE or SAMHAIN III !

Then we've got THE CRAMPS' Bad Music for Bad People, a first pressing from 1983... has some wear but plays alright!

Next is a 1982 1st pressing of CHRISTIAN DEATH’s Only Theatre of Pain! Very clean, too…

That's followed by 45 GRAVE's Autopsy, a beautiful first pressing from 1987.

Next up is the first 12" pressing of MINOR THREAT's classic early singles compilation. It even has the insert!

Then we've got a RAMONES import from 1987 called "Pinheads" (Live '82)...

That's followed by a 1974 pressing of KISS's debut self-titled album. It's either the 3rd or 4th pressing and sounds great!

Finally -for the wall records- we've got a pair of GUNS'N'ROSES titles: an absolutely sterling 2nd pressing (with 2nd sleeve) of APPETITE for DESTRUCTION with the hype sticker...

And a first pressing of LIES with the original sleeve text that was later removed!

** AUDIOPHILE MADNESS **

Happy Saturday! We've got a great drop today featuring DOZENS of super clean and sealed AUDIOPHILE pressings of jazz, classic rock and even classical! Plus we've got some first pressing jazz, classic rock and even some unusual private press stuff! It all adds up to NINE fresh wall records and 200+ new arrivals in the bin!

First, to the wall records-- kicking it off is a 2012 Impex audiophile pressing of MONK'S DREAM by the Thelonious Monk Quartet. This SEALED press is on 180 gram vinyl and was cut by the famous Kevin Gray!

Next we've got the 2022 UHQR pressing of MILES DAVIS' Kind of Blue. It's on 2x 45 RPM discs for maximum fidelity. A superior pressing!

Then we've got a six LP Blue Note box set from ORNETTE COLEMAN: 2022's Round Trip. Super Clean!

Next is the 2022 Mobile Fidelity UltraDisc pressing of MICHAEL JACKSON's Thriller. It's SEALED and apparently the best sounding pressing ever made!

Then we've got 2022 UHQR pressing of THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE. This one is on 200 gram vinyl and it is SEALED!

That's followed by THE EAGLES - One of These Nights-- the Mobile Fidelity Ultradisc pressing from 2022 on double 45 RPM 12" discs!

Then we've got the 2022 Mobile Fidelity Ultradisc pressing of ERIC CLAPTON's Unplugged. This one is 180 gram and a double 12" / 45 RPM as well.

The next one is a MONSTER-- STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN's Texas Hurricane box set by Analogue Productions. 6 LPs with lots of extras (it weighs a TON!) and it's never been opened! We've got this one well below online price but it's a hard to find set.

Finally -for the wall records- we've got JANOS STARKER's classic Suites for Unaccompanied Cello Complete - the 2020 3 LP box set pressing from Germany on the Speakers Corner label. Clean!

** JULY 4TH WEEKEND **

Happy 4th! We’re not taking it TOO easy this weekend— we’ve got 3 fresh wall records and 200+ new arrivals in the bin for you for all your party needs— tons of classic rock, some New Orleans funk & soul, hard rock and more!

First, to the wall records— THE METERS are THE legendary funk group from New Orleans and FIRE ON THE BAYOU is a nice first pressing from 1975. (We’ve also got more NOLA and Meters in new arrivals!)

Next we’ve got a 1967 pressing of THE DOORS’ self-titled album. It’s a wall record and it’s not even the first pressing? YES, this is the now very sought after RAY HAGERTY lacquer pressing of the stereo mix. It sounds great!

Finally -for the wall records- we’ve got OZZY OSBOURNE’s Randy Rhoads Tribute. The 1987 double LP has become harder and hard to come by and has some absolutely essential post-Sabbath Ozzy material. Nice copy, too!

** HARD ROCKIN’ VINYL**

We’ve got a heavier drop than usual for you! This collection has TONS of clean first pressing hard rock and early metal albums the likes of which we almost NEVER see. Plus classic rock, jazz and more! — 4 fresh wall records and 200+ new arrivals in the bin!

Let’s start it off with a true classic: THE VELVET UNDERGROUND’s Loaded. Their last album, and the catchiest— this is a nice 1974 pressing. Next is a first pressing from 1969 of their self-titled 3rd album (perhaps their best?! It’s a tossup!) — This is the rarer version— the so-called “Closet Mix” prepared by Lou Reed himself. We only see this record once or twice a year at best! (PS we have finally sold our promo pressing of the Velvet Underground & Nico!)

Then we’ve got another Velvets-related rarity: a first pressing of THE MARBLE INDEX by NICO. This 1968 album was arranged by John Cale.

Finally -for the wall records- we’ve got a SUPER CLEAN first pressing of RADIO BIRDMAN’s Radios Appear. An absolute classic of Australian punk rock’n’roll and it’s a PROMO stickered-copy!
