Software licensing sounds simple until you’re the one managing it.

Multiple Microsoft 365 plans across departments. Licenses assigned to people who left the company two years ago. Nobody quite sure if you’re paying for E3 or E5 features you’re not even using. For AEC firms especially, this gets messy fast. Between office staff, field teams, and project-based contractors, license sprawl adds up quietly until someone finally audits the bill.

We’re proud to share a new case study highlighting our work with the Seattle Mariners.

Through our partnership with Acronis our team helped the Mariners move beyond Microsoft 365’s native retention capabilities to a comprehensive backup and recovery solution covering Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint. The result was improved recoverability, stronger compliance support, and a simplified path to data loss prevention.

As the Mariners’ VP of Technology shared, the solution has become “an extra security blanket” for the organization’s technology team.

AEC firms don’t need another vendor. They need a partner who actually understands how their world works.

Deadlines aren’t flexible. A server issue in the middle of a bid deadline isn’t just an inconvenience, it’s real money and real stress for the whole team. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to at Sentry: understand the urgency, understand the business, not just the ticket.
