Flashback Friday to 1984.

One of VIKOR’s earliest and most iconic projects: stacking the KELOLAND News tower in Sioux Falls. Before today’s safety harnesses and tech, our crew relied on grit, determination, and tree trimmer belts to get the job done, considered best practice at the time.

The tower remains a Sioux Falls holiday staple, lit up each winter season. And decades later, it’s still making history—serving as the tower FCC Chairman Brendan Carr climbed during his visit last May to kick off his “Build America” tour.

Here’s to the legacy of those who laid the foundation—and to the moments that continue to build on it. 💪
