This might look like just a cool abstraction, but it's layered with meaning. Designer Haley Anderson – daughter of Hh founders CK and Linda Anderson – took inspiration from Harold Balazs, a prominent Northwest artist known internationally for his enamel-on-steel sculptures. Shockingly, there is no official Helvetica Day. There is an unofficial one – today, April 21 – thanks to: 1) A print shop in Indiana that randomly posted about it in 2023. 2) Google’s AI for treating that post as gospel (in case anyone needed extra proof that computers aren’t ready to take over the world). And since every day is Helvetica Day around here, we’re going with it.
