Plans changed… so we changed with them. 👌

The second subwoofer amplifier is out, the second DSP is in, the custom raised mount is finished, and everything is wired into its new home.

Adding the second DSP gives us the additional processing needed for all of the multi-channel amplification going into this Jeep — while still keeping everything packaged onto the side window rack.

A lot had to fit into a very limited amount of space, but this side of the Jeep is officially coming together. 🔊🛠️

And if you think there’s a lot of equipment here…

Wait until you see the other side. 😂👀

It’s the small details that keep a big system organized. 👌

With the second DSP mounted, it’s time to start getting it wired up.

Each of our custom-made RCA cables gets color-coded heat shrink to identify the individual signal channels — making it easier to keep track of what’s going where during installation, tuning and any future service.

When you’re dealing with this many channels, organization is crucial. 🔊

New equipment meant another custom solution. 🛠️

We had the footprint to fit the second DSP where the amplifier was being removed… but simply mounting it flat to the rack wasn’t going to work.

There was already wiring running through that area, with more still needing to be added.

So instead of relocating everything, we fabricated a custom raised mount that allows the DSP to sit securely above the existing wiring while still giving us the clearance needed underneath.

A little cutting, shaping, test fitting and fabrication later… the second DSP has its new home. 👌

Well… plans changed. 😂

As this Jeep build evolved, so did the equipment going into it.

The second subwoofer amplifier was no longer needed, but we DID need a second DSP to provide the additional processing for all of the multi-channel amplification going into this system.

Good news… the footprint works. 👌

Bad news… we can’t just bolt it down there. 😂

There’s already wiring underneath it with even more wiring still to come.

Looks like it’s time to fabricate another solution. 🛠️

Now you can see why we needed to get creative with the mounting on this Jeep. 👀

With a lot of equipment and a limited amount of space on the side window rack, every inch had to be planned out.

Custom fabricated stacking mounts allowed us to utilize the space vertically, while all of the wiring was routed, secured and organized around the equipment.

And this side only has two amps … the other side … that’s a different story

… more to come.

Fitment is always a challenge when you’re trying to cram a lot of equipment into a vehicle.

With limited room available on the side window equipment rack, mounting everything individually simply wasn’t an option.

So we made our own solution. 🛠️

We designed and fabricated custom mounts that allow multiple components to be stacked vertically — giving us another level of mounting space without taking up any additional footprint on the rack.

Sometimes fabrication isn’t about making something flashy.

Sometimes it’s about figuring out how to make everything fit while still keeping the installation organized, secure and serviceable.

A lot of equipment. One Jeep. Every inch matters.

When there’s this much wiring going through a Jeep, sometimes you have to create your own path. 🛠️⚡

There simply wasn’t enough room to safely route all of these larger cables underneath the factory carpet, so we fabricated a dedicated platform to route and secure the power wiring through the rear of the Jeep.

But we didn’t stop there.

With audio signal wiring traveling through the same area, we fabricated a second elevated platform to give the signal cables their own routing path and provide additional separation from the high-current power wiring below.

A lot of this eventually gets covered up and never seen again — but these are the details that go into making a large build come together.

And yes… that’s a LOT of wire. 😂

This Jeep is getting A LOT of amplification… so getting power where it needs to go starts right here. ⚡

We ran dual 1/0 gauge power cables from the battery, through a battery isolator and individual fuse protection, before continuing toward the rear of the Jeep.

And this is only the beginning of what went into this Jeep. 👀
