I helped my neighbor’s daughter, who is a senior at Alvirne High School, with her painted parking spot. She asked if I could help bring her idea to life. I was excited to help and took the opportunity to bring technology into the process, but this truly was a collaborative effort!

The whole weekend had such a great vibe, with students and parents creating art together, music playing, and food being shared.

It brought me back to my college days, when we were all free to create in our open studios and collaborate. It also goes to show that everyone can be an artist. I was blown away by the creativity shown by both the students and the parents.

I was glad to be a part of it!
