Devices don’t stay in one place, and neither do we.

Our app update lands next month, with a few things made for the newest Apple devices. Yesterday we shared that PlugShare on iPad will make better use of the extra screen real estate, and today we want new iPhone Duo owners to know that we’re also thinking beyond the fold with our latest update.

The update arrives for iOS on Tuesday, November 10th, with the Android update following in Q1 2027.

PlugShare grows right alongside the EV charging network, with new stations added all the time. Some devices can display the size and scope of that expansion better than others, and some screens have more room to show it off.

Part of our app update next month takes into account what your device can do, displaying even more essential EV charging information and giving the station map room to breathe.

That’s right. Dark Mode is finally coming to PlugShare in our latest app update, which arrives for iOS on Tuesday, November 10th, with the Android update following in Q1 2027.

Our yearly tradition continues as we share the latest station count uploaded to PlugShare. At the end of October 2024, there were 1,185,842 listed stations. By the end of October 2025, that number had grown to 1,359,187 available stations.

This notable growth is made possible by our amazing users who continue to add new locations, and by CPOs working hard to install new public charging sites for both new and longtime EV owners.
