The Vertical Cafe enjoyed the opportunity to serve a former Cruzeiro Soccer Team player, J.C Mattos today!

J.C and his friends, Tiago and Racquel, are on their way to watch the FIFA World Cup game (Match 17) between France and Senegal tomorrow evening at MetLife Stadium.

J.C, originally from Brazil and now lives in Toronto and his friends who are from Brazil, rolled up in there very unique blue cyber truck (our barista, Shanna, was extremely excited to get pictures INSIDE his Tesla).

These three customers (turned friends) were extremely down to earth, generous and interesting to converse with.

Cruzeiro Soccer Team historically is one of the most successful and traditional futbol teams in Brazil.

J.C was kind enough to leave a bag of soccer cleats, winter boots and various items for donation at the Cafe in hopes we could find homes for them

We definitely appreciate our international visitors and enjoy learning facts about various places around the globe!🌍
