Breaking news: A book I designed for Plamen Press is a finalist for a big European prize for literature in translation! We can look forward to the announcement of the ultimate winner in early July, but this is already a great achievement for the author, translator, publisher and editors. Hopefully the design helped draw attention to the work that it thoroughly deserves.

In case you weren't already aware, the ladies from Griefcat are hilarious. Not just funny, they actually write really good songs! And they're opening this year's Sprung Comedy Festival produced by Improbable Comedy on Thursday, March 12 at 7pm.

We had such a good time last year, we're doing it again! Silver Spring has so many amazing business owners... and some of them will be on our panel of local entrepreneurs with great stories to tell.
