🚫 No person and no device needs access to every domain name on the internet.

That's the rule TK Keanini, our Field CTO, argues in his newest Forbes article. The internet's namespace is structured, but it isn't organized. 400M+ domains, with a few hundred thousand new ones every day. No human team could ever file through that. And unfortunately, attackers understand that churn better than defenders do.

TK's fix: Treat anything under 30 days old as NEW, block NEW by default, and give people a clear path to request exceptions. Simple enough for a human to manage, while machines handle the rest.

The rise of AI agents makes this even more urgent. An employee might hesitate at a suspicious page, but an agent following poisoned instructions never will. That's why TK argues you need to hold your non-human identities to stricter defaults than your people.

Structure gave us a way to find everything. Now, organization gives us a way to decide what we should reach, what we should block and what we should learn from the rest.

Introducing SecureTransit: endpoint privacy, enforced as policy. πŸ”’

It encrypts traffic at the device and blocks trackers automatically, no matter what network your team is on.

And because it's enforced through policy instead of left up to individual users, "we have a privacy policy" finally means "privacy is actually running." βœ…

You keep the same DNS visibility you have today. Your team just gets protected without having to think about it.

If DNS was a car part – what would it be? πŸš—

We put that question to our own Field CTO, TK Keanini, on the show floor at , and his answer turned into one of our favorite conversations of the week.

TK broke down building a security stack the same way you'd build a car, piece by piece, and made the case for why defending against Shadow AI and agentic attacks has to be part of the build from the start.

Watch the full conversation to see where DNS lands in TK's build and hear his take on what's next for AI-driven threats. πŸ‘€

Want to keep the conversation going in person? Book time with us at Fal.Con 2026 πŸ‘‡

On this episode of dnsUNFILTERED, host Mikey Pruitt sits down with Wes Spencer, co-founder of Empath and a self-described "recovering cybersecurity guy," to talk about how AI is reshaping the MSP business model from the ground up.

πŸ”Ί Why tool-selling is out and business consulting is in
πŸ”Ί How AI is commoditizing traditional managed services, and what to do about it
πŸ”Ί Why shadow AI is already inside your clients' businesses, and how to turn it into an opportunity

The MSPs who figure this out first will set the pace for everyone else. πŸ’‘

We just left Mandalay Bay. We're headed right back. 🎰

This time, it's for Fal.Con 2026.

At Black Hat, the same question kept coming up at our booth: "How do I see and control this in my environment today?" Hybrid work visibility. Shadow AI blind spots. Tools that were never built to see any of it. πŸ‘€

We're bringing those conversations to Fal.Con 2026, August 31 to September 3, as a proud sponsor. Find us at Booth 1140. πŸ”Ί

From customer and prospect meetings, to our F1 giveaway and networking events with GuidePoint Security and the epic finale at HACKasan rounding it all off. We loved every minute. Thank you! β™₯️

The conversations continue now so do drop us a line or follow up with us to continue the week's discussions.

More interviews and announcements will follow over the next few weeks so make sure you follow to hear more! 🀩

That's a wrap on 🏁

Three days, four demo stations, hundreds of slot car races, and a whole lot of fun πŸ’«

The highlight reel: attendees lining up for a shot at beating our lap times, real threat data pulled up more times than we could count, and in booth presentations that we hope each of you got to experience.

If you swung by, raced the car, or grabbed a photo with the team in pink, that was our week, and we're glad you were part of it. Thank you πŸ–€
