Blog Alert 📦 Why Healthcare Simulation Programs Need All-in-One Solutions https://hubs.li/Q04gg7Wx0

Even though healthcare simulation has grown exponentially over the past several decades, many programs are still operating with disconnected tools: spreadsheets, shared drives, scheduling software, inventory logs, and endless email threads. This data and resource fragmentation creates inefficiencies, limits institutional and learner visibility, and makes ongoing growth difficult.

📍 Read on as we examine how an all-in-one healthcare simulation solution eliminates those barriers by unifying operations into one streamlined system. Click here >> https://hubs.li/Q04gg7Wx0

Webinar Alert! 🚨 Join EMS and Lisa George M.Ed., CLXT, CHSE, Associate Chair, Simulation and Interprofessional Education, and Tom Waring, CHSOS, Lead Simulation Technologist, NAIT Centre for Advanced Medical Simulation, for our next LIVE webinar event, "Disaster by Design: Creating an Interprofessional Mass Casualty Experience" on Wednesday, June 10 at 2 PM ET! Click here >> https://hubs.li/Q04hDqDR0

📔 Overview: Large scale mass casualty incident (MCI) simulations present unique design, logistical, and educational challenges for simulation teams. This session presents a reflective, practical overview of an Interprofessional Mass Casualty Incident Simulation, framed as a how to guide for simulation professionals. We will explore key elements of preparation, including scenario design, stakeholder coordination, resource management, and faculty readiness. The ex*****on of the event will be examined through an operational lens, highlighting real time adaptations, communication strategies, and emergent challenges. Finally, we will reflect on lessons learned, unanticipated outcomes, and practical recommendations to inform future large scale MCI simulation planning and delivery.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Describe the essential planning components required to design and coordinate a large-scale interprofessional mass casualty incident simulation.
2. Apply practical recommendations from a large-scale MCI simulation to inform the planning, implementation, and evaluation of future simulation-based disaster exercises.

Chilling out with the EMS Team 😎🍧🥨 To help everyone cool off during a recent stretch of hot weather, EMS HQ employees were surprised with a Rita’s Water Ice and Philly Pretzel Day! The event gave employees a chance to step away from their desks, enjoy some treats, connect with coworkers, and recharge for the afternoon. It was a great way to bring a little fun and appreciation to the workday while taking advantage of the beautiful weather outside.

Webinar Alert 🚨 Recording now available for the popular webinar "From Curriculum to Construction: 7 Steps Your Architect Wishes You Knew," presented by EMS and industry expert Craig Park, FSMPS, Associate AIA, Director of Digital Experience Design, Associate Principal, Clark & Enersen. Click here >> https://hubs.li/Q04hVQPw0

📔 Overview: The most expensive mistakes in healthcare simulation center planning often happen before the first wall is drawn. Too many projects begin with room counts, equipment lists, and budget targets before the institution has clearly defined the learning model those spaces must support. This webinar reframes simulation planning around educational intent, showing how curriculum, learner progression, faculty workflow, debriefing, operations, and long-term adaptability should guide early planning decisions.

Using a practical seven-step framework, the webinar will help healthcare educators, simulation leaders, campus planners, and design teams align academic goals with space, technology, and operational requirements. Participants will learn how to move from “we need a sim lab” to a more disciplined planning process that supports better learning outcomes, more effective faculty use, smoother daily operations, and facilities that can evolve as programs change.

Blog Alert 💡 Support as a Strategic Differentiator in Simulation Technology Decisions https://hubs.li/Q04gd9070

In healthcare simulation, technology decisions are often driven by feature comparisons: video quality, scenario management tools, analytics dashboards, or integration capabilities. These elements matter, but they rarely determine long-term success on their own. What consistently separates programs that thrive from those that struggle is something less visible during procurement, and far more impactful over time: the quality of vendor support.

🏥 Read on as we explore how for simulationists responsible for training clinicians, support is not a “nice-to-have,” but a strategic differentiator. Click here >> https://hubs.li/Q04gd9070
