Proud to officially be recognized as a Board Member for An Occasion for the Arts in my hometown of Williamsburg.

This one means alot to me because the arts have always been a major part of my journey, from graphic design and media to community activations, youth creativity, music culture, and storytelling. To now contribute to an organization that has such a longstanding impact on the Williamsburg arts community feels truly full circle.

I’ve always believed creativity should feel accessible, visible, and celebrated within everyday life and I’m excited to continue building, supporting artists, and helping create meaningful experiences through the arts.

Grateful for the opportunity and looking forward to this next chapter. 🎨✨

Today’s brunch with An Occasion for the Arts at the Muscarelle Museum in Williamsburg was amazing. I had the opportunity to speak about my newest activation, ARTivities by Art Riche, with respected artists and educators.

ARTivities started as a passion project in Atlanta after noticing a void in accessible art activities for everyday people. I truly believe art should be part of everyday conversation and connection.

In a world shaped by social media and iPads, I’ve noticed many kids light up when they create. Art gives them freedom, confidence, and a space to truly express themselves.

Last week, the owner of Art Riche was invited to speak at the Virginia Museum of History & Culture for an event presented by the Virginia Hip-Hop Foundation during Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month and “We the People” campaign.

She shared her story, reflected on her heritage, and spoke on culture, creativity, and community.

Thank you for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful conversation. As a woman and minority owned business, moments like these continue to remind us why representation and preservation matter.

📸Yesterday I did something that took me back.

A lot of people don’t know this, but I spent years working for Lifetouch, one of my longest jobs. That role actually helped transition me from Virginia to Georgia in 2015. I was working there while interning at , and eventually made the leap to Patchwerk full-time.

Somewhere along the way, I put my camera down for a while. It wasn’t until I started building podcast that I picked it back up again. But photography has always been something I love.

Fast forward to yesterday, Sony hosted a Creatives on the Road event in Richmond. I got the chance to test the Sony Alpha 7V and learn some tips from the iconic Ira Block () from National Geographic.

The images you’re seeing are straight out of the camera, unedited. Chef kiss!

I started out shooting on Nikon, then moved into Canon, so Sony was a new experience for me. But honestly? It felt natural. The camera made it easy to move, experiment, and just create without overthinking.

Now listen… if wanted to gift one through their 👀 I wouldn’t be mad at it.

To be honest, the functionality really let me tap back into my creativity in a way I haven’t felt in a while.

It truly meant a lot to receive so much love on our coloring sheets..the support was incredible! Celebrating Virginia royalty is our way of pouring back into the next generation, using art as a tool to teach, inspire, and connect… from The Neptunes to Patsy Cline to D’Angelo to Dave Matthews ♥️

Proud to finally share that I have been accepted to serve as a MusiCares Ambassador and bring awareness to the Virginia music community.

Confidential, no cost help is available for eligible artists facing mental health, recovery, medical, or financial challenges. No strings attached, nothing to pay back.

And please hear me when I say this. It is okay to ask for help.

Had to stop by 7-Eleven to grab the latest Virginian-Pilot. This is truly a special moment for Virginia, for music, and for history itself. So many monumental shifts are happening at once. We should take a moment to celebrate because it is winning season for Virginia all around.
