FYI:
A powerful new computer virus was today causing havoc with e-mail systems across the world.
Experts described the virus, called Goner, as one of the fastest-spreading they had yet seen and warned computer users to immediately delete it if they received it.
Now I at BCS and at my current employer have tested and battle this and newer viruses that came out as late as this morning. Some are on your computer now. I can remove viruses and backup files but I am haring FREE options below.
To all family and friends on FB, keep in mind to save all of your important documents on a USB Flash drive-preferably one that is password protected.
Some other things you can do to keep your information from being lost to hackers and viruses is to sign up for the free email accounts (ie, Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail,) and take advantage of most of the FREE storage options.
As long as your account is registered and up to date, you can store various amounts of documents online no matter what happens to your PC, and no matter what happens to your password.
For a decent FREE antivirus that can be used on an Android based computer or phone as well as a Windows/ Mac one, check out Avast (http://www.avast.com/en-us/index)
