A small village known for its prestigious school has taken community safety to the next level.
Hilton in KwaZulu-Natal has rolled out one of South Africa’s most advanced vehicle surveillance systems using SNIPR technology from OneSpace. The system uses ANPR cameras across multiple gantries to automatically detect stolen, cloned, and suspicious vehicles — and instantly alerts authorities.
The result? A significant deterrent to car theft and a powerful example of what’s possible when technology and community work together.
