Here is a technical rundown of how our ChargeSplit software kept our free electric car chargers at KragDag 2026 up and running, and how the same software can support the deployment of numerous charge points on properties never intended to deliver their combined amount of power, like complexes.

The temporary supply at KragDag 2026 was out of specification before we drew a single amp. The cars charged anyway: 33 sessions, 80.26 kWh, and a Saturday afternoon with all four bays running at once.

And so our first KragDag comes to an end. Also the first edition of the event to feature dedicated EV charging facilities.

Thank you so much to the incredible team at KragDag that helped organise this at really short notice.

We hope to be back in 2027 with more chargers and to bring some extra power along with incoming partners to boost the charging experience.

As the last few days showed, the shift to electric mobility is well and truly alive in South Africa. And Conduit is ready to embrace it.

Day 1 at KragDag Ekspo 2026 done. A first few free charging customers and a lot of interesting discussions with current and potential future EV owners. Impressed with the organisation and looking forward to the next two days!
