Day 8 of my Founder's Journey – The Reality Check

I wanted to show up today and be completely honest with you.

Not everything is working.

Some of the posts I thought would do well? Quiet.

Some of the ideas I was excited about? Falling flat.

And there was a moment this morning where I thought, "Maybe this is stupid. Maybe no one cares."

But here's what I reminded myself.

Day 1 was about starting.
Day 8 is about staying.

Not every step forward feels like progress. Some days feel like walking through mud. But you're still moving. And moving slowly is still moving.

So today, I'm not sharing a win or a lesson or a breakthrough.

I'm just sharing that I'm still here. Still showing up. Still learning as I go.

🦄✨ Why the Unicorn Bear Matters ✨🦄

Every student who attends one of my creative experiences receives a little Unicorn Bear to take home.

At first, it may look like just a cute keychain, but it's actually something much more meaningful.

The Unicorn Bear is a reminder that creativity doesn't end when the workshop ends. When students paint their own bear, they make it uniquely theirs—there is no right way, no wrong way, just their imagination leading the way.

Once finished, it becomes a keychain they can carry with them every day. A tiny reminder that they are creative, capable, and able to bring their ideas to life.
In a world that often tells us to fit in, the Unicorn Bear encourages us to be curious, playful, and wonderfully original.

This isn't just "nice to have."
This is biology.

When you spend 40–50 hours a week in a corporate environment, your nervous system lives in a state of low-grade survival mode.
Deadlines. Emails. Meetings. Office politics.
Your body doesn't know the difference between a difficult boss and a tiger.

So it pumps cortisol.

Somewhere along the way, exhaustion became a status symbol.
"I'm so busy."
"I haven't taken a day off in months."
"I'll sleep when I'm dead."

And we say these things like they're something to be proud of.

But here's what burnout actually looks like behind the badge:
