Most people size a battery for the house they have today, then the EV turns up, or the kids move back, and the maths changes. GoodWe's new stackable system is sized in modules, so the battery can be matched to the house rather than the other way round.

We've worked with GoodWe Australia and New Zealand for over ten years and the display stack is on the floor at 314 Torrens Road, Croydon Park.

If you want to learn more about it, come into the showroom, have a chat to one of our team, and we'll walk you through your options.

Our team calls LONGi Solar the Toyota of solar, and for a good reason.

Panels are the part of a quote most people skim, and the brand on the sheet means nothing until something goes wrong, so we go with one that has been around long enough to prove itself.

We've been through Longi's factory ourselves and came home talking about the robots and the testing lines more than the panels. The Hi-MO 10 is the one on the stand in the showroom right now: all black from the front with the wiring tucked around the back, and it picks up light from behind as well, which helps on grey days and at the ends of the day when the house is actually running.

Come in to 314 Torrens Road, Croydon Park, have a chat to one of our team, and we'll walk you through your options.

Most home battery quotes come as a list of boxes: an inverter, a battery, maybe an EV charger later, each with its own warranty and its own app. puts the lot in one unit on the wall, the SigenStor 5-in-One, and that's a big part of why it's the system Lachlan reaches for first.

His three reasons are in the clip. Ours is simpler: one system, one app, one place to go when you have a question. The whole setup is on the wall at 314 Torrens Road, Croydon Park.

Come in, have a chat to one of our team, and we'll walk you through your options.

Something we're really proud of. For the seventh year running, Solar Power Direct has been named a Top 10 Solar Installer in South Australia, and this year we've added Top 10 Battery Installer as well.

These SunWiz rankings come from real numbers and real installations, so every spot was earned on SA rooftops. Thank you to our in-house electrical teams, who've been helping customers through every step of the journey for 15 years.

And most of all, thank you to every customer who's supported us over the years. This one's for you.

There's a family behind Solar Power Direct, and Paul shared a bit of that story with Leith Forrest on FIVEAA . Have a listen.

Before there was Solar Power Direct there was PMEC Electrical, the contracting business Paul and his wife Rose built up from very humble beginnings. Paul's the master electrician, Rose looks after the books, and in 2011 Solar Power Direct grew out of it.

We're still family owned and run today. When you deal with us, you're dealing with a local family business, and the electricians putting in your system are part of our own in-house team.

If solar, a battery or an EV charger is on your mind, drop into the showroom at 314 Torrens Road, Croydon Park. The team will be glad to show you around.

Every system we put in has a whole team behind it, from the people in the office getting the details right to the crew up on the roof making sure it's done properly.

It only works when everyone's pulling in the same direction, and we're pretty proud of the team we've got doing it.

Picking a solar company is a bigger call than it looks. You'll be relying on whoever you choose long after install day, so have a listen to what Paul had to say on FIVEAA before you sign anything.

Price is easy to line up side by side. What's harder to see on a quote is whether the business will still be around when you need them in a few years' time, and a warranty only counts if someone is there to honour it.

Reviews help fill in the gaps. Have a read on Google and SolarQuotes, and look at how a company responds when something hasn't gone to plan.

The question we'd put first, though, is who's actually going up on your roof. Our installs are done by our own full-time team and in-house electricians, and we think it shows in the finish.

Got quotes on the go? Bring them into the showroom on Torrens Road and we'll go through them with you.

Most people know Tesla for its Ev's. Fewer know it's also one of the biggest names in home batteries, with over a million Powerwalls installed worldwide and offices right here in South Australia.

Powerwall 3 is an all-in-one system with the inverter built in, so it can go in alongside the solar you've already got or be set up with new panels at the same time. That means one company to deal with and one warranty to keep track of.

12/10/2026

Every install starts here. A fresh crate of panels gets cracked open, stacked and lined up so that when our team pulls up at your place in the morning, everything's ready to go.

It's the part of the job nobody sees, and it does a lot to make install day run smoothly.

Big thanks to GoodWe Australia and New Zealand for having our sales and install team in this afternoon. The gear changes fast, and it's good to see everyone so keen to stay across it.

Then the VR headsets came out, and there was a lot more friendly fire than anyone's willing to admit to.
