Beanz, Made Brilliantly Clear

A very satisfying refresh for one of the world’s most iconic food brands.

Across 35+ Heinz Baked Beanz and Spaghetti SKUs, we simplified the portfolio, strengthened those unmistakable Heinz assets and made the range easier to navigate on shelf.

Then came the really delicious bit. An extensive shoot brought the endless possibilities of Beanz to life, from toast and jaffles to burritos, chilli and plenty more.

A clearer, more contemporary portfolio, with a whole lot of appetite appeal.

We are very proud to see this one out in the wild. 🩵

Lantern Alley was designed to transform an own-brand range into a destination shoppers could discover and return to.

Inspired by the energy of great food laneways, we built a flexible visual world anchored by bold colour, expressive typography and a lantern icon that became both the logo and organising principle across the range.

A project full of colour, flavour and possibility.

So when we partnered with 7-Eleven on their food and drinks range, the challenge wasn’t just to redesign packs. It was to redesign how the whole system worked.

Still processing this one.

On Friday night, Australian Small Business Champion Awards put on an amazing show as the “Oscars of small business” and Boxer Brands took home the statue for Business Services.

From more than 15,000 entries across Australia, our founder Gwen Blake was also named one of six Champion Masters.

It was a big night. Plenty of sparkle. But what stayed with us was something else entirely.

A room full of people building businesses from the ground up. Family businesses. Long hours. Big risks. Real care.

We’ve always believed great design should do more than look good. It should make decisions easier, help brands grow, and genuinely support the people behind them.

To see that recognised at this level means a lot.

Purina Supercoat is Australia’s #1 dry dog brand - built on trust and strong shelf recognition.

When it came to launching into treats, the job was to extend that equity into a new category while creating something more engaging and immediate for shoppers.

- Retained the iconic black, red and swoosh to anchor recognition
- Introduced more energy through colour and layout to drive standout
- Simplified hierarchy to support fast decision-making
- Dialled up appetite appeal with clear product and ingredient cues

Subtle cameo moments help bring the ingredients to life - adding depth and reinforcing the idea of “real you can see” without overcomplicating the pack.

A cohesive system that feels familiar, but more expressive - helping Supercoat show up confidently in a new space.
