Yesterday, M A Mubin Khan, Managing Director of EATL Innovation Hub Ltd, joined a Roundtable Discussion at the House of Commons, hosted by Jim McMahon OBE MP, to explore pathways for digitally transforming education in Bangladesh. EATL Innovation Hub will play a significant role in this transformation process.

Drawing inspiration from Greater Manchester’s innovative MBacc model, the discussion focused on designing an education system centered on AI, innovation, and modern skills, ensuring future generations are better equipped for a rapidly changing world.

Special thanks to David Knox, Jonathan Carr-West, Lucy Slack, our colleagues from the University of Salford, and Professor ASM Amanullah of the National University of Bangladesh. Their perspectives and contributions made the conversation truly insightful and inspiring.

Together, we reaffirmed our shared commitment to building a modern, inclusive, and technology-enabled education system for Bangladesh.

It’s a great meeting with the Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham (former Health Minister of UK and potential future Prime Minister of UK) at his office. The Vice-Chancellor of National University Bangladesh Prof. ASM Amanullah, Councilor Abdul Zabber, Prof. Mo Saraee, Dean Prof. Viki, Prof. Dr. Rajesh Palit, Director Nancy Cooke were present in the meeting. We discussed innovation, and capacity building in Artificial Intelligence and strengthening collaboration between Bangladesh and Manchester city. The mayor Andy became very happy to learn the progress of partnership between EATL Innovation Hub and Salford University.

Today is truly a historic moment for the EATL Innovation Hub. We are gathered here to witness and celebrate the signing of a tri-party Memorandum of Understanding between three visionary institutions:
Prof Saimone Deputy Vice Chancellor Salford University, Manchester, UK,
Prof ASM Amanullah Vice Chancellor of the National University,
and industry partner, M A Mubin khan Managing Director of the EATL Innovation Hub.

This collaboration marks a new chapter of opportunity, innovation, and AI

Under this MOU, our three institutions will work closely together to advance research, capacity building, and practical applications in the field of Artificial Intelligence. This is more than a partnership—this is a commitment to shaping the future.
