Before switching, Sky Valley Family Farm had people every week who thought they’d pre-ordered, but the order never came through. There were too many steps on the storefront.

Since moving to Local Line, Kaitlyn hasn’t seen that happen. Customers say the store makes a lot more sense to them, which means more pre-orders and a lot more sales.

Meet Josh and Ashley Pyles of Blue Meadow Beef in Kentucky. 🐄

They sell beef, chicken and eggs. They started with beef (hence the name), added chicken because people asked, and the eggs “came in there somewhere.” Josh grew up farming; instead of taking cattle to the stockyards, he wanted to sell straight to customers. Ashley took that idea and ran with it.

For their first six months, Blue Meadow Beef LLC had one regular subscription box customer. When they were using Barn2Door, they “just wasn’t as adjustable.” Since launching their Local Line store on April 1st, subscriptions have taken off.
