WHAT. A. WEEKEND. 🏁

Three days at the Nürburgring, 50,000 people, and a field of Ferraris that sounded breathtaking.

At the end of it: Björn Grossmann and Frank M. Scheelen put the Ferrari #11 on pole — and then brought it home first. The golden laurel of the 53rd Oldtimer Grand Prix is going to the SCHEELEN Motorsport garage. 🥇

We were there as the partner behind the Trophy Race for Ferrari Cars — powered by naia — with the naia Lounge open all weekend. Thank you to everyone who came by, asked good questions, and stayed for the second race.

A few impressions from the weekend below. All photos by the brilliant Artur Gruber (© agru.photo) 📸

Congratulations, team. See you at the next one.

RACE DAY 1 — NÜRBURGRING

What. A. Day. The OGP delivered everything we hoped for — and more. Frank Scheelen pushed the G2 Racing Ferrari #11 to its limits. The atmosphere in the paddock was incredible, our VIP Lounge was buzzing, and the sound of Ferrari V8s echoing through the Eifel? Goosebumps.

Tomorrow is Race 2. The finale.

AI in corporate health is either going to save the world — or destroy the therapeutic relationship.

Depending on who you ask.

Here's an honest assessment of where we actually stand:

What AI does well:

→ Accessibility. Available 24/7, in 50+ languages, without waitlists. For the 70% who never seek professional help, this matters.
→ Pattern recognition. AI can detect linguistic markers of stress, track behavioral changes over time, and flag early warning signs that humans might miss.
→ Scalability. One psychologist can serve 30-40 clients. AI can support thousands simultaneously with personalized micro-interventions.
→ Consistency. No bad days, no countertransference, no scheduling conflicts.

What AI cannot do:

→ Replace the therapeutic relationship. The healing power of being truly seen and understood by another human is not replicable by algorithms.
→ Handle crisis situations. Suicidal ideation, acute psychosis, complex trauma — these require human judgment, empathy, and clinical training.
→ Understand context fully. AI processes language. It doesn't live experience. Cultural nuance, family dynamics, and unspoken pain require human interpretation.
→ Guarantee privacy without trade-offs. Every AI system processes data. The tension between personalization and privacy is real and unresolved.

The honest middle ground:

AI is a powerful tool for prevention, early detection, and daily mental fitness. It's not a replacement for therapy, clinical treatment, or human connection.

The organizations that will get this right are the ones that use AI to extend the reach of human expertise — not to replace it.

What comes after traditional mental health programs?

Workplace mental health is entering a new phase. Raising awareness remains important, but organisations are increasingly asking a different question: How can meaningful support become available before stress turns into absence, burnout or declining performance?

In his latest article published on HRM.de, Dr. Daniel Schwarzenberger explores this shift and explains why the future of prevention combines scientific expertise with emotionally intelligent AI. Using naia, the Digital Human Coach developed by RELIEF AI and powered by the scientifically validated RELIEF® methodology, he illustrates how personalised coaching can complement existing wellbeing strategies through early intervention, continuous availability and complete confidentiality.

An insightful article for HR leaders and executives who are shaping healthier organisations for the future.

Psychological Safety as a Competitive Advantage - What high-performance teams have in common.

In 2012, Google launched "Project Aristotle" — a multi-year study to identify what makes teams successful.

They analyzed 180+ teams. Looked at everything: team composition, seniority, personality types, educational backgrounds.

The #1 predictor of team performance?
Not intelligence. Not experience. Not diversity alone.

Psychological safety.

The belief that you won't be punished or humiliated for speaking up with ideas, questions, concerns, or mistakes.

Teams with high psychological safety were correlated with 43% of the variance in team performance (Google, 2015).

Amy Edmondson, who coined the term, found that psychologically safe teams:
→ Report errors faster (critical in healthcare, aviation, and tech)
→ Innovate more (because failure isn't fatal)
→ Learn faster (because feedback flows freely)
→ Retain talent longer (because people feel they belong)

But here's what most organizations get wrong:
Psychological safety isn't about being "nice." It's not the absence of conflict. It's the presence of trust — trust that candor is welcome, that vulnerability won't be weaponized, and that the team has your back.

You can't mandate it with a policy. You build it through consistent behavior:

◾ Leaders who admit mistakes publicly
◾ Meetings where the most junior person speaks first
◾ Responses to failure that focus on learning, not blame
◾ Regular check-ins that go beyond task updates

Psychological safety isn't a "soft" metric. It's a hard competitive advantage.

How do you build — and protect — psychological safety in your team?

"Just pull yourself together."

We've all heard it. Maybe we've even said it.

But these phrases don't motivate — they silence. They teach people that struggling is
shameful. That asking for help is weakness.

Swipe to see the phrases that are quietly damaging your team's mental health.
Language shapes culture. And culture shapes whether people burn out in silence — or
speak up before it's too late.

Burnout is not just "being tired."

We hear it all the time: "Everyone's a little burned out." But clinical burnout is a WHO-classified syndrome — not a buzzword.

Swipe through to see what burnout actually is vs. what people think it is.

The truth? Most people don't recognize it until it's too late. Because the early signs don't look like exhaustion — they look like overperformance.

Save this for someone who needs to hear it.

You probably won't recognize yourself in this — until you do.

These are the subtle signs most high-performers dismiss as "just a phase":

▶ You feel nothing about things that used to excite you.
▶ You're productive but completely disconnected.
▶ Sunday evenings feel like a countdown.
▶ You can't remember the last time you did something just for you.
▶ You're always "fine" — but never actually good.

This isn't weakness. It's your nervous system sending signals.

Save this. Come back to it when you need it.
