Back in the early 00s I was drawn to an Oldskool house night in wakefield called Retro. That first night I fell in love with the music, the energy, the people and the DJs. It shaped me as person in my early years and has had a huge effect on my current DJ style. I love nothing more than a piano and a vocal in my house music. I even adopted the name in my own DJ name :-)

Fast forward to today and I am honoured to have been given the opportunity to provide Retro Events with a brand new website. The old site had become tired and unused and it was time to inject some life back into the online presence. The key focus was to re-engage the 1000s of Retro fans and have a central place to showcase all the forthcoming events, the range of Retro mixes by the main man Paul Taylor and to keep everyone up to date with what is going on Retro Land.

At PurpleWeb Creative we have built over 150 websites since we started and although we have worked on some very satisfying projects, nothing has given me the excitement I have had when working on this website with Paul.
