From 1 September, more than 12 million Romanians have access to a new Electronic Services Portal from the National House of Public Pensions (CNPP).

AROBS Systems, part of AROBS Group, was part of the team that built it. It is a national-scale platform, developed over 18 months, tested for scale and security.🔒

AROBS records its best first half of the past three years in terms of turnover, EBITDA, operating profit, and net profit🚀

We posted today the H1 Financial Results: consolidated turnover of RON 292 million in the first half of 2026, up 36% compared to H1 2025, EBITDA of RON 40 million, a 29% increase, and net profit of approximately RON 23 million, up 121% compared to the same period of last year. 📈

Voicu Oprean, founder and CEO of AROBS, stated: “The results recorded in H1 2026 mark an important milestone in the Group’s evolution and confirm the direction we have pursued over the past few years. AROBS’ trajectory during this period is the result of a strategy that we have followed consistently. (…). Looking ahead to 2027-2030, the Group's development will be supported by expansion in international markets, the organization of our activities around the verticals in which we have expertise, the development of proprietary products and the integration of AI into the solutions and services we provide. This is the direction through which we aim to continue AROBS' growth and capitalize on what we have built over the past few years."

The One AROBS model is transforming the companies and capabilities brought together over the past few years into a single organization, with common processes, coordinated commercial activities, and an integrated delivery model.

"The acceleration recorded in the second quarter was accompanied by an improvement in profitability. The gross margin increased to 27%, while the EBITDA margin reached 15%, with general and administrative expenses remaining relatively stable compared to the first quarter. This evolution provides us with a solid foundation for continuing to improve operating performance in the second half of the year and increasing the contribution of each segment to the Group's consolidated results," stated Ștefan-Alexandru Frangulea, CFO of AROBS.

What's the biggest risk for a company today?

According to Voicu Oprean, Founder & CEO of AROBS, it's failing to notice, in time, that the world has changed.

💬 In a recent interview with Start-Up.ro, Voicu reflects on nearly three decades of building AROBS: from a small team of programmers in Cluj-Napoca to a company listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, present on three continents, with 1,000+ colleagues and ~70% of revenue generated outside Romania.

Here are a few highlights from the conversation:

• Entrepreneurship is a marathon, sometimes an Ironman. Rhythm and discipline matter more than speed.
• Never confuse hope with strategy. Look at reality as it is and act before problems get out of control.
• Diversification is the cheapest insurance a company can buy. The real risk is dependency: on one client, one market, or a few key people.
• Mistakes are part of learning. The only unacceptable mistake is the one you repeat.
• Leadership means building people and organisations that can perform even when you're not in the room.

What made the difference, he says, wasn't resources. It was consistency: building for the next 20 years, not the next quarter.

AROBS Systems, part of AROBS Group, has signed the contract with APIA (the Romanian Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture) to build the Farmers' Single Portal. The project is valued at RON 70 million; AROBS Systems' share is 61%, and the rest goes to our subcontracting partners.

This complex project will take 24 months and includes delivering not just a portal, but a fully integrated IT system, including software licensing, ICT equipment, cybersecurity, and user training. The platform will provide a simpler, more transparent experience for the farmers who rely on APIA's support programs.

This is another step in AROBS Systems' growing track record of large-scale digitalisation projects for Romania's public sector. We're proud to build and deliver critical systems at national scale, and we take seriously the responsibility that comes with technology this important to people's livelihoods.
