Happy Halloween from the Expert Network team! 🎃

Last Thursday, our monthly team building blended Halloween with Romanian folklore: a tradition from abroad, legends from home.

The evening started with pumpkin carving, where our colleagues’ kids joined in and proved to be the true artists of the evening. Then it was time for “Garlic, Not Pumpkins”, a trivia session all about Romanian myths and legends, with plenty of friendly competition and prizes for the winners.

Traditions travel, but our own stories are always worth keeping close. 🧡

AI can produce something that looks polished and is still completely wrong. So how do we trust it? We don’t. Not until a person has reviewed it, understood it, and checked that it holds up.

Whoever’s responsible has to be able to say what the output is, why it’s right for the job, and how they’d spot an error if one slipped in. “It looked fine” doesn’t count.

Generating something is easy now. Understanding it well enough to stand behind it is still the real work.

That’s House Rule #2 of eight. More soon.

Who’s responsible when AI helps build something?
For us, the answer is simple: we are. Always.

Every piece of AI-assisted work at Expert Network has a clearly named owner: someone accountable for the decisions behind it, the mistakes in it, and whatever it leads to. AI can help with the work. But it can’t carry the responsibility, and it can’t make that responsibility any smaller.

“The AI did it” was never going to be an acceptable answer here. Behind every piece of work, there’s a person who stands by it.

That’s the first of eight.
We’ll share the rest, one at a time.

Every company says it uses AI now.
Fewer like to talk about how.

At Expert Network, we’re happy to. For us, AI is an assistive tool: it makes people and teams better at what they already do well. What it doesn’t do is think for us, carry the responsibility, or quietly fix what isn’t good enough. That part stays with the people doing the work.

So we’re not chasing just speed. We’re after better work, held to the same high bar as always, just reached sooner.

Everyone on our teams works with AI; we decided that together, as a company. But the real care goes into how. So we wrote down the rules we hold ourselves to, eight of them, and we’ll share them here, one house rule at a time.

Because the real question isn’t whether a company uses AI. It’s how.

Work matters. So do the moments in between. 🍁🎸

Last week, we brought back one of our favourite monthly team buildings: an evening of live music, played by our incredibly talented colleagues, who won us over from the very first note.

With the laptops closed for the day and autumn settling in, we enjoyed great songs indoors, then headed outside to gather around the fire pit for marshmallows, easy conversation, and the kind of company that simply makes time fly by. It was such a hit last year that we couldn't not do it again, and it was just as lovely the second time around.

New memories, familiar faces, and a happy reminder that we genuinely enjoy each other's company, even after the workday ends.

The start of a new academic year is always a special moment. 🎓

Today, we were happy to once again take part in the opening ceremony at Facultatea de Informatica Iasi, and to share a few warm thoughts with the students as they begin this new chapter.

We were also glad to support the awards celebrating those who achieved excellent results last year, a small gesture to say that effort and dedication deserve to be recognized.

To all the students starting this year: we're cheering you on. Stay curious, don't be afraid to aim high, and enjoy the journey ahead!

There's something about being in the same room that no call can quite replace. 🤝

Two weeks ago, we welcomed ContactCenter4All to our office for a few days, one of the regular in-person syncs that have become a real highlight of the way we work together.

The days were full: aligning on what matters, talking openly about what's working and what's next, and making decisions right there in the room. You just don't get that momentum over a screen.

And once the meetings wrapped, the time we shared outside them only made the collaboration stronger, as it always does.

Thank you, ContactCenter4All.
Already looking forward to the next one!

Two special days, one delicious celebration! 🧁

Last week, we marked the International Programmers' and Testers' Days the way we like best: together. Our team gathered at the office over sweets with a fun techie twist, a small thank-you to the software and quality assurance engineers behind everything we do.

AI might be lending a hand with the work these days, but gatherings like this are a happy reminder of who's really at the heart of it all: our people.

Cheers to more moments like these!

Happy International Programmers' Day! 💻

Today is all about the people who bring ideas to life through code. The ones whose work powers the apps, websites, and tools we all use every single day.

These days, AI lends a hand with the heavy lifting, but the vision behind great software is still entirely human. It takes a curious mind to guide it, and a skilled one to know what "good" really looks like.

To programmers everywhere, and to our own wonderful team: thank you! For your creativity, your judgment, and the care you put into building things that make life a little easier for the rest of us.

We're proud to work alongside people who do what they love, and do it so well. Happy Programmers' Day!

Some of the most important work in tech happens after the first line of code is written. 🔍

Today is International Testers' Day, a chance to celebrate the people who make sure the things we build are reliable, smooth, and ready for the real world. Quality assurance engineers ask the tricky questions, leave nothing to chance, and genuinely care about getting things right.

And while AI now helps with the routine checks, it's the engineer's judgment that makes all the difference. With the repetitive handled, they can focus their sharp thinking exactly where it matters most.

A big thank-you to testers everywhere, and to the brilliant ones we get to work with: your dedication and incredible attention to detail make everything we do better. Happy Testers' Day!
