We've worked with the team behind Office Timeline – now relaunched as Lucen Software – since 2012, when it was a self-funded startup with a PowerPoint add-in prototype. Today, that product is used by 80% of the Fortune 500, and the company has just rebranded into a full "clarity platform" for enterprise teams.

When we started listening more, we changed the way we are building products.

We’re now essentially taking dozens of real conversations learnings and turning them into configurable options, instead of code written from scratch each time – instead of building a custom demo every time, we’re rebuilding those blocks into a modular platform that a clinic administrator can configure themselves – how many specialties, how many doctors per specialty, what kind of appointments they accept, what documents get generated.

Some projects don't leave room for error – this was one of them.
Our team led the complete software rewrite of the console application for a Class C medical device: a contrast media injector used during CT scans to deliver contrast solution to patients in real time.

We replaced a 15-year-old legacy system with a modern build, developed under IEC 62304 – the international standard for medical device software – while working around real-world constraints like legacy cabling that couldn't be upgraded and a UI that had to match the old system exactly to avoid re-certification.

The result: a system now in active clinical use, with no critical issues since launch.
