🎃🔥 Halloween + Chili Cook-Off 2026! 🔥🎃

Our annual Halloween celebration brought out creative costumes, plenty of chili, and a table full of fall desserts, along with a hot and cold c***r bar to round things out. Thanks to everyone who joined in on the fun and the friendly competition.

Borates are in glass, fertilizer, rubber, and solar panels. Most people never connect those everyday materials back to the source, which makes telling the U.S. Borax story a unique challenge.

Their lean marketing team was managing highly technical content with heavy editing cycles and little room for new ideas. So we embedded a dedicated BizStream content strategist and writer into the program.

Today it runs on two technical blogs a month and multiple social posts a week, planned a full year out and grounded in interviews with subject matter experts. In a typical month, that adds up to 11.4% audience growth across channels and more than 3,600 engagements.

Michigan Technology Conference is this week, and both of our sessions are on Friday!

Brian McKeiver, our Co-Owner and Solution Architect, is at 2:30 PM in Room B to discuss how to decide what to modernize in a long-running platform and what to leave alone.

Rex Rainey, our Creative Lead, follows at 3:45 PM in Room A on using Adobe Firefly to move faster through illustration concepting without handing off the creative judgment.

Today was our annual community clean-up! The BizStream team spent about 45 minutes outside in the beautiful Michigan fall weather, filling bags and buckets around our office and even hauling out a coil of discarded drainage tubing. Afterward, we headed back inside for our weekly catered lunch. This week we enjoyed walking tacos, which seemed kind of fitting 😉

Proud of this crew and grateful for a community worth caring for!

Congratulations to Courtney Klawieter and Tyler Stirtz, Developers at BizStream, on passing the Xperience by Kentico Certified Developer exam.

This is Courtney's first Xperience by Kentico certification, and Tyler renewed his to stay current with the latest version of the platform. The exam tests whether a developer can design, build, deploy, and maintain a real Xperience by Kentico site, and certifications expire every two years, so staying certified takes ongoing work.

With Kentico Xperience 13 approaching end of support, many of our clients are planning their move to Xperience by Kentico. As Courtney puts it, being certified means building things the right way the first time, so client teams get a site that's easy to edit and won't fight them later.

Twenty-five years ago, BizStream started with Mark Schmidt, our Founder, and Brian McKeiver, our Co-owner, working from two computers on a single folding table. Last week, over 300 people joined us at the Grand Rapids Public Museum to celebrate how far we've come.

Clients, partners, vendors, friends, family, alumni, and our current team spent the evening exploring three floors of exhibits, riding the museum's 100-year-old carousel, and hunting down 12 oversized Lego blocks filled with BizStream history.

To everyone who helped us get here, thank you. We're excited for what comes next!

Our team recently wrapped up a food and hygiene drive for Replenish, Grand Valley State University's basic needs center run by the Gayle R. Davis Center for Women and Gender Equity.

Replenish helps GVSU students get groceries, personal care items, and other everyday essentials so they can stay focused on school. Together, we filled a bin (and then some) with cereal, pasta, snacks, soap, and period products.

We're grateful to have GVSU in our backyard and to build close relationships with the people and groups doing good work on campus.

You'll help shape campaign strategy, interview subject matter experts, build audience personas, run content audits, and turn complex technical topics into content people actually want to read. The work spans web pages, case studies, white papers, emails, and social for clients across a wide range of industries.

We're looking for someone with 3+ years of marketing writing experience who's curious, loves research, and knows their way around SEO and GEO. Agency experience is a plus, and so is using AI tools thoughtfully in your workflow.

It's a full-time hybrid role based out of our Allendale, MI office, with three days in office and two remote.
