Last week, Modea celebrated its 20th anniversary. Looking back on the past two decades, it's incredible to see how much our team has accomplished and the relationships we've built along the way.

To mark the occasion, teammates gathered at our headquarters in Blacksburg for a few days of connection, celebration, and giving back. We spent time together through team-building activities, a Salem RidgeYaks game, and volunteering with Rise Against Hunger.

Accessibility deadlines just moved—but requirements didn’t.

The DOJ has extended ADA Title II compliance deadlines by one year. For larger entities, the April 2026 deadline has moved to April 2027 as part of a broader extension across requirements.

While the timeline has shifted, expectations around digital accessibility have not.

Health systems still need to ensure their websites, apps, and digital experiences are accessible to all users—and meaningful implementation takes time across design, development, and content.

This extension provides more runway, but not less work.
