Most companies hear customer pain too late, or not at all. Tom Vander Well has spent 30+ years listening to more than 100,000 recorded business calls, and he reveals what those conversations expose about leadership, service, trust, and the hidden reasons customers stay, leave or complain.

As CEO of Intelligentics and author of the Amazon bestseller This Call May Be Monitored, Tom shares how ordinary phone calls become extraordinary sources of truth when you know how to use them.

Over the course of the last year, two of our Vendilli video experts, Rob Donaldson and Pat Somers, were feeling forever young.

They had the opportunity to work on a documentary, the vision of local filmmaker and director, Len Caric, celebrating a one-night-only Dylan tribute show at Lawrenceville's Thunderbird Café & Music Hall.

Forever Young: A Bob Dylan Tribute captures Pittsburgh music legends, Billy Price and Joe Grushecky, as they came together for that incredible show.

The Vendilli team, along with Kory Pitkavish, Director of Photography; and Len and Judy Caric; shot the live performance with a 4-camera setup, held individual interviews with the talent at the Thunderbird, and captured rehearsal footage and interviews at the Church Recording Studio in the South Hills. All of that was compiled into a cohesive film, which premiered to a sold-out crowd on August 30th at the Lindsay Theatre and Cultural Center in Sewickley, PA.

The showing was preceded by a live performance by Billy Price and Joe Grushecky and was followed by a director Q&A that gave the audience a deeper look into how it all came together. The event was part of The Lindsay’s latest Emerging Filmmakers Showcase, giving local filmmakers the opportunity to share their work on the big screen at no cost to them or the guests. The film runs through the end of September. Link in comments with dates, times and information.

Vendilli was proud to contribute to this project and we are grateful to the entire team for their trust in helping bring this remarkable show, and Bob Dylan's legacy, to life.

The Good Good and Callaway brand crisis is still burning through the reputations of the companies involved. It’s always hard to make something right when you didn’t bother to consider what might go wrong before going public with a controversial ad campaign.

Our crisis expert, Paul Furiga, explains the critical steps both companies missed in his latest blog post. Link in comments.

AI didn't just polish our writing, it homogenized it. In her latest post, our Principal GTM Strategist, Cathy, draws a sharp comparison.

Airbrushing smoothed our photos and now AI is smoothing our language until every brand sounds the same. Answer engines and zero-click search reward content that sounds like real people asking real questions, not features-and-benefits copy. If your site talks about "improving customer retention" instead of answering "why do I lose customers after the first order," you're invisible to the very tools meant to find you. A must-read for anyone rethinking their content strategy in the AI era.

Riding Into the Future, founded by Dea Leftwich, brings inner-city kids into the horse world and opens doors to confidence, patience, consistency and post-secondary education scholarship money.

What starts as a conversation about horses quickly becomes a powerful story about purpose, timing and community. Cathy Cordova, our Principal GTM Strategist, has spent over 20 years in marketing and thousands of hours helping teams fix broken programs.

She recently sat down and wrote about the 7 habits that quietly chip away at marketing programs, from reusing old unsubscribe lists after switching platforms, to using transactional email as a workaround for subscription limits, to still reporting open rates in leadership meetings when they don't actually move the needle anymore. If any of that sounds familiar, it's worth a few minutes of your time.
