The Norvado Community Foundation is proud to contribute $20,000 to help save the ice at the Price Ice Rec Arena!

The arena's aging chillers are nearing the end of their life, and without replacing them, we risk losing this valued gathering place. From youth hockey and figure skating to open skate and community events, the arena plays an important role for families throughout Price County.

While we're happy to support this project, there's still a long way to go to reach the $500,000 fundraising goal. If you're in a position to help, we encourage you to consider making a donation and joining the effort to preserve the ice rink for generations to come.

The Grand View Fire Department is made up of an incredible group of volunteer firefighters that serve the Grand View and surrounding areas. Their commitment to protecting lives and property is truly invaluable, and we are grateful for all they do.

The Norvado Community Foundation Board of Directors was pleased to approve funding to help the department transition to lifetime self-contained breathing apparatus cylinders. This investment will help ensure firefighters have reliable, long-lasting equipment to keep them safe while responding to fires and working in hazardous environments.

We recently had the opportunity to present a grant from the Norvado Community Foundation to Hayward Youth & Rescue to support some much-needed repairs to their facility.

Hayward Youth & Rescue is the local chapter of the Civil Air Patrol cadet program and provides area youth with unique opportunities to build leadership skills, serve their communities, and train in emergency response support. Cadets can even earn flight hours along the way - how cool is that? 😊

Programs like this make a lasting impact on our communities, and we're proud to play a small part in helping them continue their mission.
