Big news from The SEP Foundation — and a first. 🎉

This year, we're awarding The SEP Foundation Maker Scholarship to two recipients. José G. is studying computer science at Purdue University Fort Wayne and Ani A is studying computer engineering at Purdue University.

Dual recipients in a single year is a first for the scholarship, and it says a lot about the strength of this year's applicants. As our COO Traci Dossett put it: when you see talent like this, investing in both just feels right.

The Maker Scholarship ($5,000/year while enrolled) was created to support underrepresented students pursuing STEAM degrees at accredited Indiana institutions. We think that's worth investing in.

Congratulations to José and Ani. We can't wait to see what you build.

What an impressive group of students with incredibly bright futures ahead. ✨These awards recognize high school students for their achievements, leadership, and passion for technology and computing. It’s not every day we get to celebrate not one, but two retirements! Today, we had the honor of recognizing the incredible careers of Mike and Brad. 👏

Their years of dedication, leadership, and investment in others have left a lasting mark on this place and the people in it. Thank you for paving the way for so many of us and for the impact you’ve made along the journey. We’ll be thinking of you every time we’re out on our nature trail. 🌳
