Animal and Pet-Themed Stationery Shop
Good Dharma Design was inspired by my basset hound, Dharma — forever my muse. I also sell my personal art on Etsy!

Every card, sticker, and bookmark is hand-illustrated by me, Zoe Ranucci, and made with the same joy she brought to every single day. Good Dharma Design an independent graphic design and illustration studio in Belmont, North Carolina (just outside of Charlotte). Owned and operated by me (illustrator/designer Zoe Ranucci). Offering both illustration and graphic design services. I illustrate for children's books, character and mascot development and editorial. My style is vector based children orientated artwork. I work primarily in Adobe Illustrator with my Wacom tablet from scanned pencil sketches. https://www.etsy.com/shop/GoodDharmaDesign

I just added this pretty birthday card to my shop. Initially, I had set out to do a snarky play on words with this card stating “hope your birthday doesn’t succ”. But after many rounds and it falling flat with the people I shared it with, I realized snarky is not me! I am about positivity and love and light, so I switched it up and I’m much happier with the outcome. ✨💖🥰🌈 just a reminder to everyone out there, stay true to yourself and don’t try to be like everyone else. Your tribe, your people, your customers will find you just the way you are.

I took an older design and gave it a little hand lettered facelift! I think this is a perfect positive energy way to think someone special in your life. ✨Filled with light and gratitude.✨

Dharma and I would like you to meet, Prana! My new squishy baby will continue in Dharma’s footsteps as my muse and side kick. I am so in love. 💖 Prana is actually a rescue from the Carolina Basset Hound Rescue - they almost never have baby puppies - but I asked the universe to bring me one - and then I got a call that a rescue foster momma had a litter of 7 full bred basset babies!!! If that is not manifestation at work then I don’t know what is!!

I knew I wanted a name with meaning to follow Dharma, which means ‘life’s purpose’. And then while doing yoga the instructor kept talking about Prana and how it means life-force, or breath. And I wrote it down, stuck it to my computer monitor - I within two weeks got the call about the puppies.

✨ pra•na ✨
Hindu / Sanskrit • breath, considered as a life-giving force.
“prana is seen as a universal energy which flows in currents in and around the body”

Sharing a new card I recently added to my online shop. Repurposing an older, ✨energetically infused Illustration, featuring my Dharma dog. Revisiting my old love her calligraphy from my high school days - this also includes hand drawn text. This would be a great card to support someone going through a tough time - or to just send a little positive energy to someone who needs it. I’ve also paired this with a colored envelope in my signature seafoam aqua blue shade.

I don’t do a whole lot of markets, but I did participate in the market this past weekend. It’s always interesting to see what people gravitate to. The zodiac cards are always very popular!

Having so much fun playing with hand drawn text combined with some of my Dharma character art for my stationery shop. I posted this card to Etsy Thursday night and when I woke up Friday morning, somebody had already ordered it!
