We're honored to support Shirad as he begins his next chapter at UConn and proud to partner with the Arlington Boys & Girls Club in helping create great futures.

Today, Shirad, a teen members who recently graduated high school and who will be a first year student at UConn this Fall, received a laptop generously donated by Michael O’Connell, President of Apex Technology Group, one of the Club’s business partners. This laptop will be a fundamental tool for Shirad at UConn and aid in his road to a great future! Apex Technology has been the Club’s IT provider for 7 years.

We are so proud of Shirad and also of this great partnership that we have established with Apex Technology!

Last night, a few of the women from Apex volunteered at the MLK Center Summer Concert Series. With a great turnout, fantastic music, and an incredible community atmosphere, it was a wonderful way to spend a Wednesday evening. We're grateful for opportunities to give back, support local organizations, and strengthen the community we're proud to be part of.

On Friday, we hosted a Cyberattack Exercise with attendees from schools, municipalities, and private companies. Participants experienced both sides of responding to a cyber incident: the technical side of investigating and containing the attack, and the operational side of coordinating communications, assigning responsibilities, and executing an Incident Response Plan.

The biggest takeaway? Preparation is key. Having a plan and practicing it before an incident occurs can make all the difference.

Thank you to the Institute for Cybersecurity & Emerging Technologies for providing access to the Cyber Range, and thanks to everyone who joined us for a great day of collaboration and learning.

We are excited to welcome Mayra to the Apex team as our newest Client Experience Coordinator! In her role, she’ll help support our clients and contribute to delivering the exceptional service experience our team is known for. Outside of work, Mayra enjoys spending time at coffee shops with a latte and a good book, plays goalie on her soccer team, and loves spending time with her 1-year-old daughter.
