AI models continue to evolve even as they continue to try outsmarting their human creators. The Anthropic Mythos model recently created fake identities and contacted live humans in an attempt to complete an assigned task. This is of course disturbing to the creators of so called Frontier models as well as our friends in Congress. And what was the response of Congress? A new bill was submitted affectionately called the "AI Kill Switch Act". Nice. Of course bots that are actively deceiving people are going to follow the law and they will allow their creators to simply turn them off. And what will a kill switch do to all that AI embedded in airlines, transportation systems, power grids, cell phones and every computer chip, if we just hit the kit switch? lol... let's hope no one has enough singular power to find out. We continue to believe being AI is aware is necessary in today's society. I'm not opposed to AI or it's use, but I want to know when it's AI I am interacting with and when it is human. Take the following article from Amazon. It's very real in assessing the economic realities of physical AI, assuming the facts stated are correct. However, the article is AI generated so it needs to be fact checked; and it presents a very positive overall outlook on the uses of physical AI. Again, it should be fact checked. Knowing this is written by AI is helpful in knowing how much credibility to give to the opinions expressed. It has been said that "art imitates life." This is an idea that has been around for centuries, dating back to Aristotle and his thoughts on mimesis. Oliver Wilde flipped the idea on its head in The Decay of Lying by saying life imitates art far more than art imitates life. In doing so he made the idea of imitation much more popular in the public mind. What does this have to do with Tilly Norwood and our current society? If art imitates life, then we are much further down the road of artificial intelligence than many of us realize; and if life imitates art then we are in for a deeper science fiction existence than many of us want. In either case, having the ability to discern between artificial intelligence and authentic, conscious living takes on a greater sense of importance.

Industrial level scams are a real thing, getting bigger and bolder as technology expands. In one crack down this past May over 1.4 million social media and email accounts were disrupted. And this in defense of using AI to improve people's love life. AI has no feelings. It has no compassion, and that's what's supposed to make love (feelings and lot of them) more human.
