One screen. One form. A class and its schedule are set up together.
Jeremiah Kincaid, VP of Salesforce Consulting, joined Nonprofit Dreamin's Solution Spotlight Series to solve a real nonprofit challenge in Salesforce, live, in about twenty minutes: how to add a class to an existing program without the busywork.
Normally, adding a class and its schedule involves navigating several screens in the correct order. Nothing is broken, but it asks staff to hold the whole sequence in their head, and that is how a class ends up in the system without dates.
The fix uses tools already built into Salesforce: a button on the program that opens a single page where the class and its meeting days and times are created together. The program manager stays in one place, fills out one form, and the record is complete every time.
